“Not Recommended- You Can Find Better And For Less Money”

Stayed at the hotel for 4 out of 5 nights. Had to leave one day early because there was no hot water and the elevator did not work. We were told the water would be fixed within 30 minutes but it was not. Front desk staff was not truthful or very friendly. The walk up to the 5th floor was a stress after 2-3 times. We left and found another hotel which was 50% cheaper and the room was as good if not better. There are many hotels to stay at near the train station and the Giorgi should not be the one.

“Causy, Close, Convenient!!!!”

Friendly staff, great location, old elevator but stuff does the trick. Very nice breakfast with the variety needed. no smell, working AC, Comfortable...... maps r given at the front desk, and help is offered.

Area recommendations

Termini area is very convenient, near the station, especially for ppl planning to visit Napoli, Pompeii, Ostia, Florence...... And from Termini u can take the metro or the open bus tour for sightseeing.

Must see

Basically everything!!! From the Vatican Basilic & Museum to the Pantheon. Piazza Navona (Bernin's fine work), Piazza Vinezia and Villa Borgese are must-see. And the best best view u can get in Rome is from Castel Sant'Angelo!!!! PS. Take the open bus tour, it's a hup on- hup off service for 2 days, 22Euros, worth every penny.

“Nice hotel within a couple blocks from Roma Termini”

We picked this hotel for its price and proximity to the train station and found it to be quite nice. The staff was friendly and even carried one bag up five floors due to maintenance with the elevator. There are plenty of restaurants close by and if you are using the station as a hub, it’s perfect. Our only complaint is that the bathroom had a strong odor of sewer. We will stay again next time.

“convenient location”

convenient location, pretty quiet neigborhood, staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor and we even had a balcony. We didn't have the breakfast even though it was included. The lift was not very convenient, as you will have to go up to 1st floor, change to another lift and then go up again. The lift was very small too that can only fit 1 person and 1 piece of luggage. Bathroom was clean.

“Clean, Cheap Hotel near Rome Termini”

Great place to stay if you need to be close to the train station. The rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful. At this price point, it exceeded expectations.

“Friendly, clean, great breakfast”

This property is about a 5 minute walk from Termini- not on the St. Mary Major side, but on the other side. I walked from Termini and found it without a problem, was immediately greeted by the staff and shown to my air conditioned room, which was great as it was mid July and a bit intense outside. My room (single) consisted of a single bed with night table, desk area with chair, flat TV, area for my bag and hanging things up and a closet to hang my clothes equipped with a room safe. The bathroom was one of the best I have had in Rome, very updated, good size shower, sink area, etc- not the tiny, antiquated water closets that you often still find in Rome- very nice. The hotel has two public use computers with a wireless connection for internet. The breakfast was really great- self serve coffee, large variety of sweets rolls as well as crusty bread rolls with ham, cheese, etc. Also plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, sliced veggies, etc. Was a lot more than I expected from a Rome hotel. I would definately return to the Giorgi, it was a welcome, quiet refuge in the hot, noisy, hustle and bustle of Rome.

“Perfect”

We had only one night in Rome, so it was the perfect location for the termini Station. The guy who work at the night , i think he s name is Giovanni o Giuseppe, was very helpful.

“Very close to Termini”

This small, clean hotel is a good value for travelers who arrive and will depart from Rome's central train station, which is also the bus hub and a metro stop. The hotel is located on the "quieter" side of the station, with many good restaurants nearby.

Traveler's tip

First time visitors to Rome should take the red off and on tour bus that leaves from the station parking area for a better price than private companies.
