Very nice hotel, good accomodationPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Close to airport and near a little convinient store if need to get the basic necessary items for the room,
Cons: The attitude of the staff at reception
Location: Close enough to airport, has a swimmingpool, nice garden and chairs, bar and nice restaurant and big carpark for those who drive there.
The hotel and its facilities are very good. The staff at reception are very unfriendly, Not helpfull, Not very welcoming. They give the impression they are there just to earn their wages and Not to help tourists. Very unlike the general Italian warm people.

A nice hotelPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Room size and cleanliness were first class also breakfast was very good
Cons: Room service was mediocre as was wifi quality and speed, also tv size and channel choice were ordinary
Location: Most touristy places were a little far away however the hotel quality made the travel worthwhile
Probably a little far out of city centre but worth the travel for extra comfort, staff were helpful and breakfast was very enjoyable, would stay here again

Pros: It is about 10 minutes driving from the airport.
Cons: Don't have workers doing renovation works on top of the restaurant to avoid construction materials being drop on the restaurant tables and beverages.
Location: Not much to do in that area other than getting ready to go to the airport....
It looks like it is an old hotel that has been recently renovated. It looks very modern and comfortable now. It is a nice hotel. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and spoke very good english.

Fantastic Fiumicino Hotel Experience!Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Everything was fantastic from the pool, to our hotel room, the balcony view from our room and the restaurant for dinner was great!
Cons: The hotel shuttle only runs from 4:00 p.m. onwards so we had to take a taxi to the hotel which cost us 30.00 euros for a ten minute ride.
Last day of our one month trip to Italy, our Fiumicino hotel experience was the "icing on the cake". We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was very clean, the rooms were very modern, and the bathroom was amazing. Not your typical "european washroom". It was very large and had a huge shower with a massive overhead rainhead spout! The pool was very clean and the service at the poolside bar was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to the airport, yet experience a mini oasis!

Pros: Very nice room and grounds.
Location: Rome was accessible only by a 30-40 minute shuttle or cab ride.
Room was very nice, grounds, too. However, staff was not so great. When my wife returned a dirty wine glass for a clean one, she was told to drink from the dirty one. She refused. The outside bartender gave her a water glass and told her she had her choice, a dirty wine glass or the water glass. She took the water glass, disgusted. We tried to dine at the restaurant. We were rudely told "Not now, go sit outside" We sat for over an hour. Finally, my wife went in and demanded we be seated as it was 11:00 PM. We also expected the shuttle to pick us up at the airport, to arrive and find no shuttle until 4:00 PM (we arrived at 12:30 PM).

Cons: Bar sandwiches.
We have spent in this hotel just 1 night. It was very clean and spacious. We had full breakfast which was included. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant in which we had tasty dinner. This hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes from Rome. This hotel has met all our expectations. After 12 days of travel through Italy and France and 8 days in Poland it was very relaxing place to be before we flew to USA.

Modern hotel with convenient airport locationPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: We liked the convenient location to the airport. The included breakfast was very nice. We also liked the modern convenience (e.g., A/C).
Cons: It would be nice if the shuttle to the airport was complimentary.
Location: There is not much to do near by (as far as we saw) but we did not care about that... we just wanted a hotel close to the airport.
The hotel is nice and modern. The room was very clean and has decent space. The shuttle to the airport is a bit pricey, but a nice convenience. The pool looked very nice, but we did not have time to use it. The on-site restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of food and drink.

A mediocre hotelPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Not much
Location: It's not an airport hotel.
Very basic rooms, nothing to recommend them. The airport shuttle remarkably disorganised and unreliable.

Convenient hotel for air travellersPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: great bathroom
Cons: sound-proofing in the rooms
Location: close to airport
The Golden Tulip staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were clean and pleasing to the senses. The restaurant menu was average but a bit pricey; moreover, the service was slow. The room itself was clean and well laid out. The bathroom was the best one I experienced while in Italy; by this, I mean that it was up to North American standards. Unfortunately, the sounds from the corridor were audible all night long.
