The hotel is located near the Villa Borghese which makes it easy to walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Galleria Borghesse. The hotel is very clean and the staff, who are mostly family, are very helpful and pleasant. Being a 2 star hotel means there's not a lot of amenities but if you just need a nice place to sleep (after all your in Rome, why would you hang out in a hotel room), it's hard to beat this place

Mary Theresa and her family are excellent hosts — friendly and very attentive to any need that arises. The room and hotel overall were very clean and well maintained. The location is terrific — very close to the Borghese Gallery and not far from the Spanish Steps. There was no breakfast available during our stay but a coffee bar located a few short steps away provided our morning coffee and croissants. I highly recommend Hotel Golden.

We loved this hotel and the hospitality from the lovely owners and staff. We had the conjoined family room which was beautiful and fairly quiet. The room got serviced every day and they even put the air con on for us for when we got home. The beds were incredibly comfy and both the bedrooms were large. The hotel and rooms were really clean and everyone was so helpful. If we ever come back to visit Rome, we would absolutely stay here again.

Giuseppe and his family were so welcoming! This was our first trip to Rome, and he made us feel super comfortable. We had a view facing the entrance to Villa Borghese, which includes an ancient wall... I would definitely stay here again!

Family owned and operated hotel. Comfortable, clean, safe neighborhood just far enough removed from the major tourist hustle and bustle. People running the property were amazing and the breakfast offered for 20-Euro each is fabulous. Quiet spot to relax after walking the city all day! Grazie Hotel Golden for a great stay!

Great location right next to the park, which is why I chose it. Also conveniently close to a few car rental agencies if you’re renting when you leave the city. A few minutes from a bus stop as well. I’ve stayed in six different places so far on my trip and by FAR this hotel had the best staff. They were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. We had a lot of luggage and they graciously let us drop it off early and then pick it up late after check in. I can’t say enough good things about them! The room itself is spacious and seems like it was formerly a high end apartment. The biggest things for me about a hotel room are cleanliness, bed comfort, and shower quality. This easily checked all three boxes. Would absolutely recommend!
