Excellent locationPosted Sep 28, 2013
Cons: coffee at breakfast was not very nice
Location: just off the main road by main bus stops, nice restaurant a few doors down, 5 minute walk to vatican city
Stayed here for 6 nights in rome, was an excellent base for our trip, reception were very helpful in getting around on buses etc, bus stop and train station were minutes away, a few more minutes walk and you were in Vatican City. Rooms were comfy, breakfast was good. Recommended!

Great location, could be better breakfast!Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was great! View of San Pietro with balcony! The BREAKFAST that was offered is continental so obly cold meats and so on, coffee was ok but the service could be much better...At times of refill the person attending (black haired lady) seemed as if we owed her something for bringging extra food out. The staff at the front desk was very corteous and helpfull with a daily walk to the METRO which we passed right through Saint Peters square on a daily I would deffinetly suggest very comfortable shoes. Overall the hotel was good but deffinetly could be better.

Close to the VaticanPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great small hotel walking distance to St. Peter's square near both train and metro stations. Wonderful staff, good sized rooms we completely enjoyed it! The roof top bar has an unbelievable view of the dome of St. Peter's.

good breakfast, good location. CLEANPosted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: Mostly everything
Cons: if you offer currency exchange to patrons, don't claim that "commission free" exchange at Eur/usd of 1.60 is a good deal.
Location: Vatican and everything else is near by withing walking or bus riding distance. Bus is cheap.
CLEAN and modern. Great air conditioning. Shower was funky, but we delt with it. Staff was really good too.

BETTER OFF SOME WHERE ELSE!Posted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: The air conditioning is great
Cons: a lot of problems with the room
Location: away from everything, only close to the Vatican
Hotel Gravina, Is situated in a restricted area closet Metro 30 mins away, and not many places to eat close. The WIFI is AWFUL!! So don't rely on that. The breakfast was ok, Room was OK, locked out room and shutters were not working, lights not working. The map they provide is ok but don't rely on that. only good thing it is close to the Vatican but everything else far away

Nice bed and perfect for vatican tripsPosted May 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
PROS: Very very comfortable bed, nice enough LG flat screen with USB input and plenty of channels (none of them English speaking just in case you wanted to check!), clean room, safe, roof top bar. Cons: Shower is small and the Drain kept on clogging badly in both shower and sink, walls are (and i cannot stress this enough) PAPER THIN, if you drop a pin it will be heard in 3 rooms over, if someone has a shower in the room beside you....good god its something else! im not over exaggerating.but you may not notice that because most people show in the morning and you will up anyway. wireless in the room we where in was terrible, i had to sit in the wardrobe near the door to connect on the phone (a little better on the Laptop but they give you a piece of paper with a code which is valid for one device) all and all its great for a romantic stay! just stay in the bed its a really comfortable one!!

Good for a 3 starPosted Feb 20, 2013
Pros: Generally clean
Cons: The rooms at the back don't have a great view
Location: No issues, were able to walk around till 10pm. Only a couple of Restaurants (watch what the charge for) within 5 minutes, lots of cafe's
Good overall View at the back of the hotel is not great and the breakfast could be better. All considered it was a comfortable stay and clean Close to St Peter's (10 min walk) and about 20 min walk to the entrance to Vatican. If you plan to go to Vatican and St Peter's its great, but you will need to arrange a hop-on-hop off if you plan to visit the other sites. Everyone should do consider the Roma Christiana Pass for a day it could save you a little £. If you plan to queue and buy your tickets - don't go to the Vatican early, you will queue longer than if you go a little later
