Zentrale Lage in Rom

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals
Location: in 10 Minuten Entfernung Coloseum / Kaisermärkte / Trajanssäule / Piazza Venezia / Bahnhof Termini

Great location, helpful staff, compact facilities

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Bathroom layout
Location: Very convenient for Colosseum and Forum, 5 mins from Metro station.
Stayed 4 nights for a mini-break at start of June 2015. We found the location to be very convenient, close to the Colosseum, 5 mins from Metro station, choice of eating places in the area, mini-store just around the corner. The room was compact, with possibly the smallest shower I have experienced in the bathroom. But it was good for sleeping and it is a 200+ year old building in central Rome. We used the terrace most evenings and were generally the only people on the top floor, which was good because it does not have a lot of space. It was a bonus to sit up there on the warm evening drinking the hotel's very reasonably priced wine. The breakfast choice was limited but there was more than enough of it for us - part self service, part served to us. The rolls and ham were very good. Staff were all friendly and helpful, with some great guidance on what to do and where to eat provided when we stepped in. We would be very happy to stay again.

Nice Hotel, Friendly Staff, Perfect Location

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: Location!
Cons: Bed Mattress! Food!
Location: Colleseum, Bars, Everything else not bad walking distance
What you pay what you get, Friendly staff, perfect location, Colleseum walking distance, don't need tour bus everything not too far to walk, Rooms are small but it's an old building, bed mattresses not comfy, breakfast not nice at all!. Very quiet hotel. Overall would come back, what you pay what you get.

Good Location

Posted May 22, 2015
Pros: We liked a lot about the hotel and the staff or the cleanliness of the hotel were better than we expected for the price.
Cons: Mattress protectors and pillow protectors are a basic requirement even in a budget hotel.
Location: The location is perfectly central to Rome to either walk to the Via Nazionale and get a bus or taxi, or walk to a number of tourist sites.
This is everything you would expect of a low cost hotel in the centre of the Monti area of Rome. The added extra that you don't seem to pay for is the location. Once you step out of the hotel you are in a street of interesting cafes and shops but none are so large as to detract from the pleasant atmosphere of the street. It is a little noisy but if you expect to stay in the centre of Rome and avoid all noise, then you should pay for an hotel with sound proofing. Our room had a fridge built into the dressing table, which was a great extra that we didn't expect. The room was beautifully cleaned by the chambermaid and we could not fault any of the other parts of the hotel for their cleanliness. Our only criticism of the rooms related to the beds. Even in a low cost hotel I would expect a mattress protector and pillow protectors which are laundered weekly. The pillows were absolutely flat and they were grey. I would have thrown them out long ago. I consider that sort of thing to be a health issue and not just a preference. One pillow per person is ok, but it would have been good to see a spare pillow stored somewhere in the room as well. Health and Safety rules are different in every country it seems and we were surprised to see that the hairdryer was wired into the bathroom instead of being situated in the bedroom. The problem with this is that if you have a hot shower and then try to use the hairdryer, it cuts out because it seems not to function in heat and humidity.

Location, location, location. Very friendly staff. My room was clean and spacious. It was located in a separate building. Air conditioning a little noisy bilut overall the stay was good.
