Alright for a budget holiday

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Well the hotel itself is in a good location and as the title says if you're on a budget holiday then you can't really complain. There were a few issues we had with our room though. First was the bathroom was tiny. I mean my knees were against the wall while sitting on the bog and also the shower rails and corners of the walls were a bit mouldy which created a slight odour after showering. Breakfast again wasn't great, no hot food but still plenty of choice of fillings for the croissants and bread rolls. The good points were the rest of the room was very clean an tidy, regular changing of towels and linen, a nice view from top floor and it's situated on a quiet street close to some very very good cheap restaurants. The staff were also chatty and pleasant although the receptionist did leave at 2 each day so you had to resolve any issues or queries with the other hotel that shares the same building. Overall, I'd say we would stay here again if were still on a budget and we had a fantastic holiday despite the few bad points

Affordable hotel, good location

Posted Jul 28, 2014
The hotel's most attractive feature is it's relatively central location, close to the Metro and to downtown Rome. It is also very affordable, particularly for young budget travelers (with 2 people, it was cheaper than many hostels). The rooms are small and dated, but clean. The bathroom facilities are functional, though very small and in desperate need of an update (they also use a particularly unpleasant smelling cleaner). The view is nice though, and despite not having A/C, it was generally pleasant. The staff are very nice, even though you often have to deal with the Hotel Brasil desk instead. The breakfast is quite sad, stale croissants and rolls, watery juice and coffee, but it is included and is a nice quick free snack before spending the day out. Essentially, the hotel is a good place to crash for budget travelers, and you won't be disappointed if you expect a pretty decent 2-star hotel.

Basic but clean hotel. Nest metro and main bus rou

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Basic but clean hotel near metro and main bus route. Helpful and friendly staff who ensured we knew how to navigate around Rome. Breakfast dull but fine to stay for 3 nights on budget city break. 10 minutes walk from Termini where airport bus arrives.

Harmony at Harmony

Posted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Very central, very clean, good facilities, opposite British Embassy and close to Porta Pia.
Cons: More choice of breakfast especially for a diabetic, not much choice.
Location: Quite central, close to Termini & close to Republique Square where there were a lot of different restaurants including McDonalds.
Very pleasant stay at Hotel Harmony, staff very welcoming especially Nicolas, very central, although side street a little noisy, but that's Rome for you. Breakfast not much choice but pleasant staff. Extremely clean, room very comfy. Plenty of restaurants close by and cash machines close also. Rome is a beautiful city, plenty of places to go and easy to get to. The weather was rather hot for walking but water was cheap enough to purchase. Be prepared to queue at Colosseum & Vatican City. Lovely experience overall, just a pity the Trevi fountain was being cleaned and all the water had been drained.

Good hotel, good for Rome

Posted Apr 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Euro-style hotel (small room, breakfast is croissant + coffee). Hotel starts on the 4th floor! Hotel Braisle is on floors 1-3. Again, common in Rome. Nice staff. Get to know the bus/metro routes.

Central Location

Posted Apr 25, 2014
Pros: The staff were knowledgeable about the area and the courtyard was pleasant Fantastic position for all transport links
Cons: Room could do with being decorated and the shower doors replaced
Location: Great for all transport links to any of the attractions, couple of nice restaurants nearby, room overlooked a wooded area
Our recent stay was good, the room needs updated and the shower doors need replaced. The room was cleaned every day with clean towels provided, really it was a place to go to bed which were very comfortable. Staff very helpful at reception would explain directions or advise of the bus or metro to use to any of the attractions The courtyard was a lovely place to sit and meet other guests from all over the world. Would stay again

I thought it was great value for the price and a good location to see the sites so to speak. I would definetly stay here again.
