excellent location. good service

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location. Service
Cons: Room decoration
Location: Good neighborhood
the rooms are full of amenities leaving very little space for personal stuff. Unfortunately we couldn't experience the terrace as it is closed in the evening.

Lovely Boutique Hotel in Great Area

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, style, cleanliness
Cons: The mattress was the only thing that was not perfect.
Location: Within 30 minutes you can get to anything you'd want to see. We walked to the Vatican, the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, etc. Great food nearby too.
We were lucky enough to get our room when we got to the hotel, even thought it was 9:30am (overnight flight). The room was neat and the staff was helpful with all of our requests. We ate lunch up on their rooftop and the food was good and reasonably priced, great views of Rome. Our room had continental breakfast included, which was a very nice assortment of items, though they did not change at all for any of the three mornings. The location is also excellent.

Great hotel great location

Posted Oct 4, 2014
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights. We found this hotel to be beautiful the entrance was impressive it set you up for the rest to come. Our room had impressive decor and bathroom was lovely. Had everything you needed. We ate breakfast in the outside garden which had a beautiful waterfall perfect way to start the day. Selection for breakfast was impressive lots to choose from cooked and other. Would recommend a visit to the jacuzzi sauna and steam on a morning it's beautiful in the spa area and a perfect start to the day. There is a roof top bar/restaurant which is lovely, separate seating for drinks area. Staff are lovely always polite and helpful. Excellent location about a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and the colosseum. Steps and fountain about the same too. Overall an amazing stay. Would definitely stay again.

Our favorite hotel on our favorite street in Rome

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Pleasantly decorated room, very quiet hotel, working A/C, free Wi-Fi, professional staff, excellent breakfast, and fantastic location.
Cons: Only one of the two elevators (lifts) was working during our stay. Hopefully the second one will be functioning soon.
Location: The hotel is walking distance to St. Peter's and the Vatican, as well as Piazza Farnese, Piazza Navona, Piazza Campo de' Fiori, and other places
The hotel has a friendly, helpful, staff. The 64 rooms are nicely appointed. The location is wonderful - it's on a narrow cobblestone street near Piazza Farnese and walking distance to the Vatican. It remains our favorite hotel in Rome. Via Giulia is a lovely street with unique little shops and restaurants. The rooftop restaurant offers superb food and very good wine from all the regions in Italy.

Fantastic bed and great food. The facilities were great. It would have been better if we had an outdoor pool since it was so hot when we were there..

Very nice central hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Location Food Staff Modern and up to date with facilities
Cons: The pillows - either too hard or too soft. But this is very minor in context.
Location: It is central to the historical points in rome
We had a wonderful stay at hotel indigo-st George. It is very central to all the historical points in rome. The staff at reception are great. The hotel food in the roof top restaurant is wonderful with an amazing view whilst having your meal. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Hotel Indigo is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The decor is beautiful and homely, the rooms are comfortable and the staff and amazing. The only downside was the price of the breakfast but we knew this prior to arriving. Highly recommended.

Great location and with modern decor

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Decor, location
Cons: For a 5 star hotel I would have expected a complementary mini bar
Location: Within 5-10 mins walk of the pantheon and piazza novena, St. Peter's . With a bus station at the end of the street taking you straight to the colaseum
The hotel was extremely well decorated , in a great location close to many of the major sites in Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Great location, a real home away from home

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Our room was immaculate, convenient, and charming.
Location: The hotel is very convenient to the Vatican, Pantheon, Caster Sant Angelo and many other sights of the city.
Hotel Indigo, St George is a clean, modern hotel in a charming 15th century building on one of the earliest streets in modern Rome. Their friendly, capable staff members were quite helpful and truly seemed eager to enhance our visit to the Eternal City.
