good Hotel and good locationPosted Sep 5, 2014
This hotel was in a good location for us as it was close to the train station and close to many other attractions . there are allot of stuff to see in Rome so you will still need the bus or tram to travel to some of these attractions. unless you are there for long and don;t mind the walk. breakfast was good and some good options

Decent hotel, good location.Posted Jul 30, 2014
Clean, comfortable room in a good location. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and it was perfect to recharge after a long day of sight-seeing. Shower in the bathroom was also quite small. Breakfast was decent- good cappuccino!

Excellent location!Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Location Staff Breakfast
Cons: One late night staff employee was somewhat unpleasant when asked for an extra bath towel.
Location: Spanish steps, trevi fountain, colosseum, many excellent restaurants Under 10 minutes walking distance from train station
My husband and I stayed at hotel Lirico before and after our cruise. We would highly recommend this clean, well-run hotel, well-located just under 10 minutes walking distance from the train station (termini). We especially appreciated the hospitality of reception staff Tony, Massimo and Michelangelo. If you like walking through the exciting and historical streets of Rome, this hotel is between 20-40 minutes from all the main sights, such as the Spanish steps, trevvi fountain (currently under construction) and the colosseum. Many excellent restaurants nearby and lots of fun night life at the Spanish steps. Rooms are clean with plenty of space to unpack for a couple of nights. Very nice breakfast with an assortment of danish, cookies, eggs, cheese, meats, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juices and coffee or tea. When you arrive there is one staircase to navigate with your luggage, but if you go inside to the reception area, they will send someone to help you carry them up. Then there is an elevator to get to your room. The hotel offers good security at night, as well as a safe in each room. The hotel will arrange transportation to the airport, if needed. The fee is €50 (€48 by taxi). We were extremely satisfied with our stay there and would return without hesitation.

Pros: Very close to metro, bus line, and trains. Area is safe. Rooms are clean and well kept. Staff is very kind and patient with all their guests.
Location: A few blocks away there are great some great small restraurants. Everything is walking distance.
Stayed here for 5 days. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Breakfast is included and is very filling. It is close to train station but quiet area. Not far from major attractions.

Will Stay Again.Posted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
A clean, updated hotel with a friendly staff, that is conveniently located to both the local sights and transportation. It's near enough to the train station to make it simple to use, yet just far enough so that the trains are not a nuisance. The room and bath were larger than is typical, well kept and cleaned daily. Quite a few restaurants very close, as well as the in-hotel breakfast room. The A/C was in-room controlled, and worked very well. Took a little getting used to using the room key to activate the lights; but the card-key also eliminated the need to run the key thru the front desk every time we came, or left. From the front entrance, the lobby is up the steps to the 2nd floor, on the left. Necessitated a quick exploratory trip, without luggage, up the stairs upon our initial arrival. On a whole, I was very pleased with the accommodations, and will stay here again.

Nice hotel for the price.Posted May 29, 2014
Rooms were small, especially the shower, however they were clean. The breakfast was nice but the elevator was the size of a phone booth. Bottom line, if your on a budget and want a hotel in a great location and near train station this is it.
