Don't stay here
No elevator, the door did not close all the way even when locked. The room smelled like cigarettes and when i mentioned it to the staff they claimed no one has ever smoked in there. We ended up not even staying there, it was too uncomfortable and i did not feel safe.

Great staff, excellent breakfast and good price
Hotel is far from the attractions, but is only 12 minutes walking from a metro station (Re di Roma) and 5 from a bus stop, so it worked really well. The staff is outstanding, always supportive and friendly, they helped a lot with tips about transportation and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is delicious with juice, Italian cappuccino or espresso and plenty of croissants! Rooms are good, actually big for Italian standard. Great finding by the price in Rome, totally recommend it!

Fantastic and helpful staff, lovely experience
The hote has a very authentic feel and is very accessible from the centre of Italy (bus links to the hote are easy to navigate, as is the metro and it doesn't take long to get anywhere you'd want to sight see). Breakfast on the terrace in the mornings was included and was great.

We loved our stay in Hotel Lodi ... although .. not the greatest location .. too far from central Rome ... Front desk was great !! Ali made our stay fun and pleasant !!!!

The room we had was very small and the facility is 2 out of 5. However, the hotel staff are great in helping us planning the tour event in Roma and providing transportation info about getting around Rome. It was a great help for someone is doing DIY tour in Rome.

All I have to say is WOW! This place has been the best place to stay at during my one month Europe vacation. The SERVICE is by far the best service I've EVER had. Immediately when we walked in we were offered water and if we wanted to relax or if they wanted to help us out with a basically a map tour of Rome. They gave us ALL the tips, tricks, helpful routes of Rome including any traffic info, closure info, festival info, top authentic Italian restaurants, discount museum days, etc. They knew it ALL. Every day we were greeted by all the staff in multiple languages it was so cute. The breakfast out on the patio/garden was the best part! It was a stunning view and DELICIOUS breakfast. They went above and beyond. I guess they saw me discreetly dancing when I saw the Nutella in my breakfast so for the next morning they double stuffed my crossiant with Nutella <3 it was literally the funniest and sweetest thing ever! The room was HUGE. The bathroom was gigantic and the shades are thick so if you want to sleep in, you won't have a problem. The hotel is extremely clean and the location is perfect, very safe, quiet, and near many means of transportation (train, bus, metro barely 10 minute walk), restaurants, laundrymat, etc. The pricing for the hotel is super inexpensive for this type of location and quality. I would pay double knowing what I know now. I will DEFINITELY be coming back and will recommend to all my friends and family!

Great neighborhood and dining.
I would call this more of a hostel then hotel. Breakfast is continental but adequate. The outside garden was nice and the staff was very helpful. San Giovanni metro station was about a 12 mintue walk and the buses came semi close to the hotel. Our room had a bathroom but others had to share a bathroom. If you aren't into too many amenities, this would be fine..

Good Value
First visit to Italy and Rome. We were greeted by the manager who promptly brought out ice water to welcome us. The staff speaks excellent English and have an excellent knowledge of the area attractions and how to get around. The hotel is close to public transportation and some nice local restaurants. Breakfast was Italian style and delicious. This is a very good value with a very friendly staff and convenient location.

Great staff make for an excellent stay
Great welcoming staff who always make sure your plans are optimal! They understand what their guests want, directing me immediately to local bus stops, supermarket and ATM, as well as traditional Italian restaurants (not just the tourist ones) and helping me plan each days' adventure of the sights of Rome. Breakfast in the garden is lovely but always sweet pastries so if you want savory you might need to visit the supermarket. The guys are just so nice, access to fridge and microwave, rooms not fancy but adequate and comfortable, great GREAT value for money. Location not bad, buses within 5 minutes and a 12 minute walk to the metro station at San Giovanni, buy a public transport pass from the machines at the stations that will cover your whole stay then just get on-off when needed. Highly recommended for budget travelers!

staff speak english and very helpful in guiding how and where to go about in rome. In the morning breakfast is served in their little garden. 10 minutes walk to metro station

Decent for 1 night stay...not more
The staff at the hotel was very friendly. However, the hotel or hostel rather was not what we expected. This is more for someone wanting to spend a night. They were going to charge us 3.50 euro for breakfast, which consisted of a croissant and orange juice or coffee, so we declined breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights, our towels were never changed, the bedroom was very tiny for a doubleroom and the bathroom was smaller than a cruiseship bathroom, rather noisy, walls are thin, internet connection was bare, room was cold barely any heat. And they do not accept credit cards, which was very annoying.

Velká spokojenost
Hotel je výborně dostupný (vlak, metro, bus), v blízkém okolí jsou restaurace i bary, čtvrť je bezpečná. Personál je opravdu VELMI přátelský a nápomocný, dostali jsme mnoho tipů co vidět a jak se kam dostat. Snídaně jsou také moc dobré. Mohu říci, že pokud znovu poletíme do Říma, budeme opět bydlet v Lodi hotelu.

Da evitare....
Albergo squallido.... nonostante l'impegno e la buona volontà del personale..... poca pulizia e struttura vecchia..... bagno inguardabile e giusto 2 asciugamani in totale per 2 ospiti..... colazione molto spartana..... mi dispiace ma il prezzo è anche eccessivo.....

Un hotel semplice, pulito e con personale cordiale. Ottima posizione ( a 10 min a piedi da stazione Tuscolana, pratico arrivando da aeroporto di Fiumicino con treno regionale (35min)). Ottimo per raggiungere centro di Roma, Per visita a piedi Di zona San Giovanni. Zona tranquilla, piena di ristoranti. La cosa che mi è piaciuta particolarmente è bel giardino dove ho fatto colazione.

Wenige Minuten zu Fuß von der nächsten Metro entfernt, genau so wie die Busverbindung nach Termini. Das Hotel ist einfach, aber sehr nett. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gibt gerne Tips für tägl. Touren durch Rom.

the staff is really nice, we got big help.just take bus 105 &50 from train terminal than walk few minutes. and the bus 81&51 near hotel can go to famous pointview. It's very convenient. We arrival Lodi at 8, and we are hungry and tired. The staff help us to call to order pizza with no extra charge and no service charge in pizza, it's really nice.

Albergo davvero carino ben servito dai mezzi.
Premetto che viaggio spesso cambiando struttura alberghiere ad ogni viaggio. Mi sono ritrovata all'hotel Lodi con due bambini dopo esser "scappata" da un'altro hotel fatiscente. Per fortuna ho trovato nell' hotel Lodi un posto incantevole. Personale davvero cordiale e simpatico, colazione abbondante, camera pulita e accogliente. Inoltre è ben servito dai mezzi pubblici per cui è comodissimo raggiungere il centro di Roma o la stazione Termini. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Di tutti gli hotel in cui ho soggiornato a Roma, il Lodi è decisamente il migliore.

Personnel très gentil et très agréable. Chambre pas du tt insonorisée..pas de fenêtres doubles vitrages côté rue(donc très désagréable mais avec la fatigue sa passe). Absence d'un service navette ( comme marqué sur le site). Point positif : Le personnel en or. Merci à eux ;)

Et rigtig hyggeligt hotel, med en dejlig have. Hotellet ligger lidt uden for centrum, med ca. 1/2 times gang til feks. Coloseum/Palatinerhøjen. Meget fin service fra yderst venligt personale. Morgenmaden var vi ikke så glade for - den var for sød for os(wienerbrød). Vi købte selv noget youhurt og frugt som kunne opbevares i et køleskab,som var til rådighed for gæsterne.

Budżetowy hotel, którego największą zaletą jest obsługa - dwóch fantastycznych gości i równie miła i ładna (według mnie) signorina (signora?). Są to ludzie którzy nie pozwolą Ci abyś został sam ze swoimi problemami. Lokalizacja w odległości kilkudziesięciu minut marszu od Stazione Termini i tyle samo od Lateranu, stanowi kompromis między łatwym dostępem do atrakcji a brakiem "elementów" kręcących się wokół dworca. Stacja metra i autobusu w odległości krótkiego marszu. Śniadanie w formie słodkich rogalików, gorących napojów do wyboru i soku, wbrew pozorom wystarcza na kilkugodzinne intensywne zwiedzanie miasta. Mikrofala, lodówka i kompletnie wyposażona kuchnia w części ogólnodostępnej. Latem problemem może być brak klimatyzacji, chyba że dostawiane są urządzenia przenośne.

24/h przyjemny hotelik z przemiłą obsługą, śniadania na słodko, ale można się najeść, blisko do komunikacji, Trochę głośno, ale łóżka bardzo wygodne. Czysty pokój, łazienka w pokoju. Suszarka na życzenie dostępna.
