Gutes altes Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Posted Apr 7, 2015

Not a 5 star hotel...!!!

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Breakfast is very good, has a nice variety and an excellent presentation. It has free valet parking...!!!
Cons: It needs mayor renewal: fixtures, walls, elevator...
Location: It is quite location, far from the main tourist attraction, but that is what we wanted. There are nice restaurants close by, like Borghetto....!!!
The hotel is just we wanted and nice; however, has several inconveniences: No hot water at the shower in the early morning, WiFi only works part time and next to the room door, very expensive restaurant and not so good, room service is very poor...!

Sofisticaçao ,elegança e comfort.

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: O refinamento.
Cons: Simplesmente perfeito.

Location: Etwas weg vom Zentrum.

Great hotel within walking distance of everything

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, ability to watch television in English and general manner of the staff.
Cons: The room we were in had an issue where if any of the other rooms had running water or flushed the toilet, we could hear it quite loudly above our head
Location: See above.
My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Lord Byron Hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for centrally located accommodation but in a quiet, relaxed area. We could walk to almost everything we wanted to see and do in Rome, and were amazed at how quiet the area was. It located right next to a park where you can also find a lovely Zoo, though it's far enough away that we weren't even aware of the Zoo until we literally walked past it. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasant experience. Both my partner and I look quite young, however the staff never once patronised or treated us in anything less than a courteous, helpful manor.

First class service, attention and style.

Lord Byron Hotel is a step back in time. From the beautiful Art Deco furnishings, to the attentiveness of the wonderful staff, this is a luxury experience in comfort and quality. Do treat yourself to a pre-dinner cocktail in the relaxing and tasteful bar. Breakfast is included and is a wonderful start to the day. This was my second stay. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. A lovely place to wind down and relax after the busyness of a day in Rome. For those who feel the walk through the park is too long, the hotel has bicycles you can use. The local restaurant is a 3 minute walk and is exquisite. There are only 34 rooms, so if you are looking for a first rate, boutique hotel experience, and feel like being treated like the Lord and Lady of the Manor, enjoy the decadence of this gorgeous haven, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Rome..

Mixed Emotion

Posted Nov 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon and weren't sure what to expect. It is rated 5 Star so I had high hopes. I want to first say that the service was VERY good. The staff was really fantastic. As for the hotel, it was not my taste. I like a more modern hotel and this had an 80's/Art Deco feel. Some people like that and this would be a great place for them. Just to give you an idea, all of the carpets are red and the walls in my room were green and made of a patterned felt. It was like Christmas came early... in a bad way. I am very picky when it comes to hotels and this was just not my taste.
