“Good hotel, great location”
The room was small and a bit outdated, but it was clean. Breakfast was very good, cold and hot items. Location was great, 2 blocks from Via Veneto, and 2 metro stations about 5 blocks away. Some days we got free wifi, but not all the time.
“Excellent ratio quality/price”
this hotel in Roma city center is an excellent ratio quality/price The hotel is 10 min from the Metro of the Plaza de Spagna, more on the hilly side of the town.
“Very Nice small Hotel”
The hotel was very well situated, rooms were a bit small, but clean. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. For the price we paid I cannot complain.
“Hotel Ludovisi was a quiet haven in a busy city”
Hotel Ludovisi is in a great area of Rome. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to the Metro line, which is their subway, that can connect you to mostly all of the big attractions in Rome. I am 40 and traveled with my 67 year old mother. The service is very good and helpful. There is one concierge that was extremely helpful and friendly. We also had the American breakfast every morning which was a great start to the day. Great air conditioning! It was hot when we traveled in July and the rooms were nice and cold! I researched this before I booked because it is hot in Rome in July. The bathrooms are very big and housekeeping did an exceptional job. I highly recommend this hotel.
“great staff, great location”
Everything was nice except our room on our second stay was small, with what my husband called a "micro bathroom". However, Rome is expensive and this was a small price to pay for nice hotel in great neighborhood. Near the US tourist hotels, but is not one of them so refreshing. A mix of tourists and Italian business travelers.
“Wonderful little hotel!”
A lovely hotel, a welcome respite from very active city in a perfectly situated area near the Spanish Steps and Borghese Park. Hotel Ludovisi Palace is small, well appointed and offers a wonderful (multi-lingual) staff that is eager to help. The breakfasts were also a hit with my family. Rooms were generous for European standards and Via Ludovisi is a fairly quiet street just off Via Venetto which still hosts the upscale shops and grand hotels. The expansive Borghese Park is two blocks away and perfect for morning jogs. We were extremely happy with this boutique hotel and it's great staff.
“rome 2011”
The hotel staff was very helpful with the exception of one gentleman on the desk. He seems to be bothered every time we approached the front desk. Not rude, just not very accommodating. Everyone else at the front desk, at breakfast and especially the evening bartender, were very friendly. Breakfast was very nice and you could get a very nice cappuccino if you knew to ask. Room was typical for Europe; small but adequate. Locations was great. Close to the Metro, the Spanish Steps, Trev i Fountain and shopping. One thing is a must - ask for a grocery store. There is one about 4 blocks from the hotel. It has a good selection of wine and beer and (in most cafes and all around Rome, water is 2 to 3 Euros) bottle water for .39 Euro. Would go back.
“A very good Hotel”
A very good hotel, in a very good location (near metro station) and 5-minute walk from Piazza di Spagna. I think that the hotel is more expensive than it should be. The room was clean, the breakfast was poor for a 4-star hotel. A small problem was that we could hear any noise from the next room and that noone has changed our sheet for 3 nights. Overall we were satisfied from the hotel and its staff kindness.
“Superb Hotel”
Hotel Ludovisi Palace was an excellent hotel in Rome. It was convienently located near the Spanish Steps. The entire staff at the hotel went out of their way to see that we had everything we needed. Rooms were small but I suppose all European rooms are. We received great restauranat recommendations, directions and things to do. COuld not have asked for a better experience. Wish I was back in Rome right now.
“nice and good hotel”
The hotel was clean and in a good neighborhood and well ubicated.
