“Wonderful little hotel!”

A lovely hotel, a welcome respite from very active city in a perfectly situated area near the Spanish Steps and Borghese Park. Hotel Ludovisi Palace is small, well appointed and offers a wonderful (multi-lingual) staff that is eager to help. The breakfasts were also a hit with my family. Rooms were generous for European standards and Via Ludovisi is a fairly quiet street just off Via Venetto which still hosts the upscale shops and grand hotels. The expansive Borghese Park is two blocks away and perfect for morning jogs. We were extremely happy with this boutique hotel and it's great staff.

“Great Location for the price!”

The location of the hotel was great. Eventhought it was near the via Veneto - which had very expensive restaurants and shops, the hotel was reasonably priced. It was on a side street , so it was very quiet and easy to get to. There was some "construction" in buildings near by...so it was not a "pretty" site...but this is only temporarly. If you love to walk...you can get to several main attractions within 1 mile. The breakfast was good, the staff was very polite...Specially Debera at the main desk.

“Rome's best small hotel”

This is a lovely, cozy, small hotel. The staff is very helpful and attentive. the rooms are very clean, neat and comfortable. We enjoyed going back to our room after a long day of sight-seeing. Breakfast was yummy: eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, coffee, everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

“Roman Holiday”

Wonderful location, not far from Barberini Metro and Via Veneto dining. Staff of this hotel were universally excellent - helpful, friendly, well informed. Rooms well done and very nice bathrooms. Nice breakfast buffet, newspapers, cappucino. Overall: We'd stay here again!

“Great hotel”

A very good hotel in an excellent area. Got a very good rate. Rooms are small (but all European hotel rooms are), as was the bathroom, but everything was clean, comfortable, and functional. Air conditioning works very well, and the rooms are extremely well insulated from street noise. Breakfast was included and was actually quite good - lots of options (eggs, bacon, cereal, cold cuts, yogurt, croissants and danishes, etc.). Reception was helpful and friendly, and after two days already knew us/our room. Hotel is very close to the A line Metro (Barberini) and there are a few convenient bus stops on Via Veneto as well. Lots of excellent restaurants in the area. Hotel offers a car service to the airport, which was convenient and cheaper than the taxis were offering (holiday/Sunday taxi rate can be very high). Definitely somewhere I would stay again.

“Hotel Ludovisi was a quiet haven in a busy city”

Hotel Ludovisi is in a great area of Rome. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to the Metro line, which is their subway, that can connect you to mostly all of the big attractions in Rome. I am 40 and traveled with my 67 year old mother. The service is very good and helpful. There is one concierge that was extremely helpful and friendly. We also had the American breakfast every morning which was a great start to the day. Great air conditioning! It was hot when we traveled in July and the rooms were nice and cold! I researched this before I booked because it is hot in Rome in July. The bathrooms are very big and housekeeping did an exceptional job. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Superb Hotel”

Hotel Ludovisi Palace was an excellent hotel in Rome. It was convienently located near the Spanish Steps. The entire staff at the hotel went out of their way to see that we had everything we needed. Rooms were small but I suppose all European rooms are. We received great restauranat recommendations, directions and things to do. COuld not have asked for a better experience. Wish I was back in Rome right now.
