Fairly priced hotel close to the airport
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: The price. The cost was fair given proximity to the airport and to Rome. The restaurant was very good but a little pricey.
Cons: They advertised Wifi but we could not get it to work in our rooms. Also, they did not provide an ice bucket and would not.
The hotel was overall pleasing. The beds were hard for an American who is used to a softer bed. The hotel staff were generally willing to help although they did take a couple of requests to fix a couple things.

We were glad we chose the Mach II. We had a nice meal at night and free breakfast in the morning, with a great variety of food choices.

Very convenient hotel for short stays between flights or prior to an early flight. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Not convenient to tourist sites.

run AWAY
Posted Jan 5, 2012
checked into the room and then out of the room in under 15 minuttes. construction in the parking lot. hotel not kept up- at one time may have been a 3 star now it's barely a 2. walls and halls are dirty dingy and old looking. went to the room 1 floor up balcony lock did not work so the room was not secure. exit was 2 rooms away.and huge construction going on in the parking lot not 50 feet from the room. all the alarms in my head said run so we did. would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel stay away dont do it. from ny and i would have felt safer sleeping in harlem on the street.

Planes Fly Too Low Over Hotel
Posted Jan 2, 2012
This hotel was totally in the flight path of the jets which passed directly overhead and actually shook my room. They nickel and dime you for everything: E6 for shuttle each way; E7 for your own wifi (tho they did have a common computer). Staff was very nice, even helping me over internet with where to get shuttle, but with so many hotels to choose from for a one-night stay, surely there must be others not directly in the planes' flight path!

Last Night in Italy

The hotel is very conveniently close to the airport if you have an early flight out. If you walk down the street toward Fiumicino, along the waterfront, there are a few great pizzerias that also serve delicious fried calamari. You can also get your final fix of gelato after pizza and calamari. The hotel was clean and quiet with a good breakfast buffet.

Fiumicino, not bad
Posted Jan 22, 2012
Pros: 10 euro cab ride to the airport
Cons: 10 euro cab ride to the airport
Location: 10 euro cab ride to the airport
Stayed here for a night bc I had an early morning flight out the next day. The room was fine—the concierge gave us a map and directions to neighboring restaurants in Fiumicino. Definitely recommend walking to the shore and going to one of the restaurants for dinner instead of going to the hotel restaurant, as it's a nice (15 mins or so) walk and it's actually a charming and lively neighborhood.
