Hotel Madison - they gave us the farthest room, it’s like a maze getting into the room. Lots of hallway. - Worst thing is that our bathroom didn’t have hot water, I was already inside the shower when I realized that. - Tried to call front desk, but dialing 0 or 1 didn’t work. So my husband have to go the long winding hallway to go down and talk to them. They sent someone to fix but it took awhile before we got the hot water. - The next day, no hot water again! So no morning shower, we didn’t call them anymore since we are checking out that morning. - Breakfast was good, except they are slow at refilling the food. - Location, very convenient for public transportation - The room, it has a smell that is not so pleasing. We just stayed 1 night, but I don’t think I’ll book this again. - Has AC! - Fridge - No microwave - Window by the shower, shutter won’t close all the way, so neighbors might be able to peak if your showering. - Wifi not so good

I was only here one night before flying back to the US, but I enjoyed my stay. It is right across the street from the Termini train station, which made my trip to the airport very easy!

The elevators rattle and feel unsafe when moving. We experienced low water pressure today and difficulty getting showered. Clean bedding and comfortable. The windows helped eliminate sounds from outside. The elevators need to be serviced. Doors in room did not feel secure.

Very welcoming and helpful staff at all times. However, the room was very uncomfortable with a small bed and a barely working shower. V convenient for the station and good dining options nearby but I would not be able to recommend staying here.

The number 1 feature of this hotel is just next door at Roma Termini, to score convenience points. To add more, because of its proximity to Roma Termini, food and drink choices are enormous. The room is big, the bed is comfortable and the shower is modern. The downside is that the building is old and walls are not sound proofing: the guest in the next room is a phone chatter extremist: he is on the phone with at least 10 different people, from 8pm to the midnight, non stop talking and I was trying to get some sleep in order to get up at 5am in the morning, and I had no choices but to listen to his chatting for the whole evening.

Brilliant
I booked the hotel and wow it’s amazing warm water warm room comfortable bed and pillows. It was that good and the breakfast was lovely. I booked the hotel originally for one night but came back. If your a solo traveler or late or early flight. 3 minutes to the bus Shellter for the airport. Opposite Rome terminal. 5 min walk to the bus station which gives you access to all the sites for £1.5o euro.

Well Worth the Price!
For the money, the Madison Hotel is hard to beat! Right across from the main train station, there area is alive with restaurants, stores, and people. The staff is great, and the rooms are not fancy, but very acceptable. Highly recommend!

Terrible place to stay, the roof on the ceiling has a hole. The room is small, dirty, and suffocating. The pictures on their website looks nice. However, it’s all fake, don’t stay here, l wished l paid extra to stay on a better hotel. 1 star is for the staff being nice.

Great Hotel
The Hotel Madison in Rome, Italy was very inviting, clean, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfast served each morning and especially we were impressed with a young man named Denis who’s appeared to be running the whole show with great enthusiasm, and a constant smile on his face. Comfortable room
Room was great. Very spacious for a twin room. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Location is fantastic and steps from railway station. Mini fridge and nearby grocery store make breakfast/lunch easy. Only part that was a bit odd was coming back from dinner to find the hotel trying to give my room to a large group of monks so they need a better system for tracking which rooms are occupied.

The location is totally convenient for two youthful senior ladies - right downtown and directly across the street from the train station. Hotel Madison is a gem in a vibrant neighbourhood. Beds are COMFORTABLE. The breakfast food choices and breakfast room atmosphere are the best I have had in any country. Staff overall are accommodating, pleasant, professional and speak English well. The pictures on-line, of the lobby are deceiving. It is much smaller and more friendly than shown. The pricing is comparatively very good. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there on my next trip to Rome.

The hotel like many properties in Rome is old or old fashioned. The location is the key - just at Termini (main station). Walkable to Trevi, Spanish steps, Colleseum and Pantheon. Staff is professional and nice. Rooms are dated, but clean. Bed was comfortable. If you look for a cheap stay, it can be an option.
