Welcoming hotel in city centre.Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The sense of it being rather secret but close to all the action.
Cons: I think all English people would find the rooms small, but in Rome who spends much time in their room!
Location: In two minutes you are by the Spanish steps; the Keats/ Shelley museum, modish shops and good places to eat.
This was small hotel where the staff were warm and knowledgeable, kind and attentive. Emmanuele and Roberta on the front desk were able to answer all our questions and make very helpful recommendations.

Excellent location, wonderful staff.Posted Sep 29, 2014
The hotel was ideally located right near the Spanish Steps and the Spagna Metro station, which allowed easy access to all of Rome. The staff was excellent - helpful, pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Our room was a "Small Double Room," and it was EXTREMELY small, though clean and well appointed. This didn't matter much to us, but be forewarned if you need more room. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again.

A Nice Surprise!Posted Sep 28, 2014
We had a great family vacation to Rome. Unexpectedly the hotel was one of the highlights. We love the suite, which is very roomy, and has a high class traditional deco with a modern twist. The staff are very helpful. And we love the breakfast there. On top of all these, it is very conveniently located. What a charming little boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. Highly recommended.

5-star treatment at reasonable pricePosted Sep 13, 2014
Classy, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Manfredi is in the classiest neighborhood in Rome. Walk to everything. Contact concierge Emmanuelle by email before you arrive. He speaks perfect English and knows everything! Breakfast is the best I have ever eaten!

An excellent hotel choice for our stay in Rome.Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff - in a great location and offering excellent comfort, Hotel Manfredi is one of the cleanest we've ever visited (in any city).
Cons: We chose a small room, which was excellent - but a second mirror would have been very useful in the bedroom (as well as in the one in the bathroom).
Location: Mostly walking to/around the sights, we also took advantage of the frequent buses and tours - but ran out of time to try the trams. Next time!
We could not have chosen a better Hotel. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived; and found the hotel in general - as well as our room - was well cared for and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff - especially the reception team; and the breakfast was excellent in terms of both food choice and staff service. Hotel Manfredi was ideally situated for us ... we had easy access to all the sights - we were just 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps; 10 minutes from the Trevi Fountain and less than 30 minutes walk from the Colosseum and the Vartican - with a range of great shops and a terrific choice of restaurants for eating out at night all nearby, too. We cannot recall enjoying our stay in any city hotel as much as this before - it really was just perfect for our needs. Well done to all concerned.

Pretty, clean and friendly.Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Good for a three star hotel. Rooms were fancy and clean. Stayed in four star hotels worse than this.
Location: This hotel was perfect for us. Right next to the Spanish steps and a short walk from Spanga metro station.
We had a week long stay in this hotel. The rooms were clean, they look exactly like the photos and the breakfast was better than expected. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating throughout.

Amazing location and cute hotelPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: the amazing location and old school look but modern feel.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Such a cute hotel, staff were really friendly. Fabio gave us a map pointing out the key locations, this basically became our tour guide. The hotel was within walking distance of all the major sights and we didn't take any public transport other then to get to and from the airport. It is just 2 mins from the spanish steps so we would go every day, amazing experience to casually sit on such a monument. The room its self was small but the perfect size for a honeymoon couple as ourselves. The only issue we had was the absence of a mirror in the room the only mirror being in the bathroom. Otherwise perfect. Would definitely recommend hotel Manfredi.

Perfect location for seeing Rome.Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The elevator is a bit of history, with a gated door and manually operated. Great! The rooms were beautifully decorated, with fabric on the walls.
Location: Within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, the twin Basicilas, the Medici gardens and so much more.
If you want to stay in a hotel that really gives you the flavor of Rome, the proximity to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and more, then stay here. It is a small boutique hotel with excellent service very near the Spanish Steps. Breakfast was great everyday. The staff was pleasant and helpful at all times and spoke enough English that we were not struggling. This was our first time traveling abroad and we were far, far out of our comfort zone. But after a day of sightseeing, we would come back to a place that made us feel welcome and at home. The only issue we had was that the beds and pillows were very hard, by our standards. We bought some soft pillows and the hotel staff helped us fine a department store to do so. They gave us directions, called cars for us, helped us find stores we needed and asked how our day was! It seemed they were truly interested in making sure we had a good time.
