Great Hotel close to spanish steps.Posted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Staff, especially the concierge (roberta, and another gentleman at check-in) extremely helpful.
Manfredi is centrally located nearby Spanish steps and main shopping areas. The rooms are a bit small but cozy and was tastefully decorated. The breakfast and the comfort of the beds were top notch compared to all the other hotels we've been to while traveling from Milan to Rome.

Small characterful hotel in the heart of the cityPosted Nov 11, 2013
Good hotel close to the Spanish Steps in Rome, on a quiet street - you can walk to everything. We stayed in a Junior Suite, luxurious interior decor, very nice ensuite shower room. The room space is not very big (as is typical with city centre hotels) but very cosy. Continental breakfast was pleasant.

Great location!Posted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Beautiful, nicely decorated rooms in a variety of colors. My sister and her husband had a beautiful green room with rich hues and decor.
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Stores for shopping, like Gucci, Dior, Tiffany's, Tory Burch. Sights within walking distance such as the Spanish Steps, Trivi Fountain, Vatican, etc.
This hotel with their wonderful staff, especially Emanuele, pay attention to detail and make you feel as if you are a part of their extended family. We loved our stay here and the location to shops, restaurants & historical sights is unbeatable. We would come back in a heartbeat. We loved, loved, loved it!

Great hotelPosted Oct 24, 2013
Cons: Didn't do cocktails very well.
Location: Near Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and metro. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby.
Really lovely hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bed was soooo comfortable even my 12 year old daughter commented on it. Great robust shower too which is always appreciated after a hard days sightseeing. Perfect location too right near the Spanish steps and Metro. Breakfast very good with the most delicious homemade yogurt. Would definitely stay here again.

4 day city breakPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: very clean, very small but served its purpose. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. old cage lift or winding stairs.
Cons: Toilet seat loose, and pan was round!!! probably that's the style but try and work it out round or oval, which is more practical.
Location: Very good central location, everything is within a walking distance or bus/underground if you prefer. Walking is never boring in Rome though.
Easy to get to this hotel, caught bus/coach from airport 6 euros each. cheap but hassle trying to get on the coach, you load your bags on yourself then join the que hoping the ticket allocation is right. It was but not before people were panicking thinking their cases were on board but they would not be. In Rome caught taxi from Termini stn. to hotel 16 Euros. Rome was fantastic, weather warm enough for shorts and t shirt, all day and evening. What a city, history on every corner, most of it created when us in the UK were still in mud huts. GET UP EARLY TO GO TO THE VATICAN! Anyone travelling from the airport, bottom line is the coach is cheap and does the job but the train is overall easier and cost 14 euros each way, caught it on the return trip and would probably use this option next time. The express train travels non stop to and from the main Termini station in Rome and two stops on the A line underground takes you to Spagna station. From there its no more than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. cost 1.5 euros. The hotel is lovely, not top of the range but then didn't pay top price, no way a budget one. Everything was very clean, service good, breakfast ample to set you up for the day. Wifi is not free and the stocked fridge, usual rip off. air con was present but looked like it had been disabled, not a problem for us as it wasn't needed. NO KETTLE in the room, banned because of damage to the fabric wall paper/material.The hotel will provide boiled water if you ask.

Quiet street close to Spanish Steps, restaurants,Posted Oct 15, 2013
Location: Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, restaurants, shopping.
Quiet, narrow picturesque street just a few steps off main road. (Gregory Peck / Roman Holiday movie). Short walk to Spanish steps, restaurants, shopping. Roman decor. Good breakfast. Room was tiny but comfortable. Elevator up to hotel old but functional.

big price, great location, tiny roomPosted Oct 1, 2013
great location 2 blocks from Spanish steps, teeny tiny room , great airconditioning though, very nice bar and breakfast, first time stay in central Rome but for $550 a night I think there are better hotels that I passed by when I visited, larger and better located when I enquired. Pretty good though but tiny room. Staff was helpful. Would come back but felt it was overpriced.

Rome, City visitPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Hotel was nicely situated, deluxe room nice size. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast catered for all tastes.
Cons: Showers were a bit hit and miss, multi directional, but hard water created scale blocks. Instructions would have helped.
Location: Location good, plenty of restaurants, sites and shops nearby. Take own paracetamol (5+ euros for 10 in pharmacies)
Nice hotel, close to all amenities and sites. In a good area within 3 minutes walking to Spanish Steps. We had 4 lovely, sunny days visiting the sights and sites of Rome. Could have walked everywhere, but with a friend on a crutch so used taxis a lot. Everywhere we went was within a 10 euro taxi ride. Do get to St Paul's early (8 to 8.30am), book a tour as early as possible and either whizz round the church or try and do the roof first. By 9 to 9.30, St Paul's is packed and long queues are forming! Restaurants are relatively expensive beyond pasta and pizza, although we found service good, never rushed and house wines often drinkable. Go fo red hop on, hop off buses as more of them than blue or green.
