Perfect LocationPosted Apr 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have just returned from a long easter weekend getaway in Rome. We chose Hotel Massimo because we could pay when we got there. After a bit of confusion finding the hotel we were more than happy with everything else. Location was perfect (15-20min stroll to the ancient sites), the room was simple but clean and was cleaned daily. The free breakfast offered a variety of choices and great coffee. The staff were helpful and willing to offer suggestions for eating out. A few great restaurants along the same street offered great value. Would definitely return to this hotel if visiting Rome again.

Good little hotel not far from the center of RomePosted Apr 5, 2013
Nice hotel for people just wanting a bed for the night. Great location about 10 minutes from Rome Termini station for buses, Metro and Rail. Less than an hours walk from the main sights of Rome. Helpful and friendly staff, only downside would be the front desk\door is only manned 7am to 7pm (you have to go to another hotel across the street should you need anything or dial a local mobile), however I never had issue and had no problem unlocking the doors with the keys supplied. It can be a bit hard to find from the road as there is no big sign, its on the 3rd floor of the building. Great hotel for people who just want a room for a few nights to sleep, I would recommend.
Great small hotel for the pricePosted Jul 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
I stayed at this hotel for a week. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in Rome where I have stayed. The hotel itself is very small (less than a dozen rooms) and is located on the third floor of a nondescript building which includes other hotels. The elevator to the hotel is extremely small, so if you are a plus-size person, you, your companion, and your luggage might not fit simultaneously. The staff was very helpful (and fluent in English), and the continental breakfasts were fine. I was able to access the internet for free on my computer in my room. The staff is not on-site for 24 hours per day, so if you have a problem, the staff at a nearly hotel will provide assistance.
