I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It was our first time in Rome. I stayed with them for 2 nights with my family. The rooms were clean, comfortable, newly renovated and larger than any other hotels you'll find in Rome. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Lisa and Franny were particularly helpful and patient. We loved staying here.

This property is conveniently located to the Colosseum. It has easy access to the metro. The staff were awesome and very accommodating. The beds and pillows were firm and not comfortable.

An updated and clean hotel in an old building. Great walkable location to most of the historic portions of Rome. The elevator is ancient and quirky, part of the charm.

Great Place to stay.
Excellent place to stay, if you don't need to check in late on a dark rainy night. They don't have 24 hour service desk, they provide late check in instructions, but it's not easy to figure it out in a dark. Other than that it was a great place to stay in. Highly recommend it. Also the restaurant downstairs, the food is fabulous and so is the staff.

You will not find kinder and more helpful hotel staff anywhere in Rome. Truly. Or cleaner rooms. The ancient elevator was charming. Attractive room renovated 4 months ago with a proper shower. The hotel being located in a non-hotel building gave the feeling of being a local. The location is fantastic - Roman Forum a block away in one direction and the Coliseum in another. Tons of restaurants. I was there for work for 9 days and had no trouble with the wifi. Only hesitation is the walls between the rooms are very thin but manageable with a portable white noise machine or ear plugs which I always travel with or fine if you're not easily distracted or awakened.

This central located hotel was perfect! I was impressed with how clean our room was until my daughter pointed out the mold in the restroom. :( I am pretty sure it’s been taken care of by now, aside from that and the hard beds it was a great stay. I would certainly return.

What is super cool neighborhood and old-school hotel. Great base for exploring the vibrant city of Rome. I love the elevator, and the staff is very kind. My only suggestion is to have better in room lighting, including better reading lights and less bright overhead lights, but I would certainly stay for sure.

This is a quaint, very clean, small hotel within walking distance of Colosseum and other ruins and attractions. Staff is very friendly. Be prepared to leave bags and walk around a bit if you have early arrival. LOTS of dining options nearby. There is a very small elevator so leave your big suitcases at home or be prepared to lug them up some stairs. For as much is around you, it was very quiet and our room fronted the street. Great little place. Would stay again.

The hotel is on a busy street with the constant sound of ambulances and police sirens. The hotel Is located on the second floor of an old building. The hotel is ok but if you want to go on vacation to relax it’s hard to do so with this small room. The shower is extremely tiny as well. There is no view , no place to relax and unwind.

Great location. The room was much smaller than anticipated and despite Expedia saying there is laundry facilities on prem, there was not. The owners were lovely and this served as an excellent home base. It felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.

Great Value With Central Location
Perfect location for everything we wanted to do in Rome. Less than 10 minute walk to The Forum and Colisseum. Central location to everything. The owner was so sweet and helpful. Room was typical size for a European hotel and kept very clean. Even though we had a room facing the street, we heard no street noise with the window closed.

Great location! Excellent cooling systems in an extremely hot few days in Rome! There are many restaurants and coffee shops near the hotel for your convenience. Our hostess, Alberta was helpful in directing us around the area and arranging local transportation.

My stay at Hotel Paba was very pleasant. Alberta made me feel like I was guest at her home. Great guest service, directions, and area recommendations. We liked the property because it had a convenient location to tours we were taking in Rome. Also, we really appreciated our concierge! She was knowledgeable and very helpful in providing directions and suggestions. She always wrote out clear instructions for the taxi driver she arranged for us. The hotel is charming and we loved the old, squeaky lift! Thank you!

There was some positives: room was a nice size and quiet with windows closed; however air conditioning was not very effective, bathroom was cramped. Location was outstanding and we decided that was key ultimately.
