Nice hotel, very close to the Vatican

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Location and friendly reception staff.
Location: Short walk to the Vatican City, lots of restaurants close by, close to the metro station. Lots of tours available by the Vatican City.
This was a very friendly conveniently located hotel. The room was very clean and serviced daily. The breakfast had a good selection. An excellent choice. We had a triple room and it was great.

Positive experience, would definitely use again

Posted Jul 7, 2014
The hotel came simply as advertised, friendly staff, amazing breakfast with loads to choose from. They also offer evening meals but we choose to eat out. Rooms were of good size, clean, serviced daily and air-conditioned. Totally served its purpose. Most importantly it is about 15 minutes walk to the Vatican museums, St Peters square and within easy commute via the Metro to other attractions such as Trevi fountain, Collisuem. The airport is 30 minutes away via taxi non rush hour or about 1hr 30 minutes using public transport.

Central Rome

Posted Jul 6, 2014
The hotel was very close to the station and the Vatican. It was good value for money, the buffet breakfast was good for the value, but wasn't exactly gourmet food. The room was spacious and very clean. The room had air con, a small fridge and safe. The room was made every day and the staff were helpful. Very good value for money.

Great position

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Position
Cons: Bed could be improved and a bit noisy from the road.
Location: Close to Vatican and the older part of Rome. Metro close by.
Excellent position for visiting 'old' Rome. Price was good for such a great position. Breakfast was better than we expected. For the price and position I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Convenient and Cheap, ideal for travellers

Posted Jun 4, 2014
For the price, this hotel is ideal if you're looking for a place just to sleep. In other words, this is a hotel for those who want to tour Rome and not spend their time inside a hotel. The breakfast was very adequate - though, be warned, the good pastries run out quickly so first come first served! The hotel is located very close to the Cipro metro station, and literally a ten minute walk to the Vatican; there's a supermarket on the way to and fro the metro, and two petrol stations either side of the hotel. We left straight after breakfast and arrived back at night, so our time spent in the hotel was pretty much confined to sleeping, freshening up and breakfast.

Very close to my work, 50m and good 4 the Vatican

Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: It is good for my work.
Cons: Maybe sound isolation. I stay in Paris at a hotel next to the Peripherique, in fact the room overlooks it & I can barely hear any traffic day or night
Location: It is near Cipro metro station. Some restaurants up the hill. A nice ambiance in the hotel and the staff were always there to help.
Very pleasant people in the reception and housekeeping. I wanted to try the restaurant but I worked late. The breakfast is a decent buffet. I shall stay again. The room overlooked the road and was a little noisy but earplugs were not necessary.

Average

Location was great, within walking distance to the Vatican City and the metro station was only down the road. Room quality was average, old but clean. Staff however was very unhelpful and rude. Would not recommend for a long stay.

Tiny room, long walk from sights

Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Too far from anywhere, especially if you are only there for a few days
Not a great hotel, the room was tiny, old and dated and the breakfast was pretty awful. The hotel is situated behind the vatican and is rather a long walk to any of the sights.
