My friends and I were happy with my choice to spend our 3 nights at this hotel. The location is very convenient. Very close to Termini station and shopss and restaurants. The price I paid for 3 nights was very reasonable. I wouldn’t mind using this hotel again next time I visit Rome.

Breakfast is across the road in a very small cafe with a choice of a croissant and a very small drink. The bed was broken at one side the person at that side was layed 20cm lower down. The toilet had a leak and the shower continually dripped, you always had to put shoes on first before going to the bathroom and hold your trousers up off the floor. Very shabby furnishings throughout. The only good thing is it is close to rail, metro, tram and the bus.

Friendly and convenient
Very friendly, helpful staff. Able to leave luggage there free until my flight later in day. Convenient location in a colourful area. Unfortunately no internet service was available in rooms. They said they were getting it fixed?? Had to sit at reception for connection.

It was good location, comfortable bed w enough blankets,but sometimes there was not hot water. The lady at check-in was not honest because she said I cannot pay city taxes w credit card and that is not true. I think that they should be more flexible and know how negotiate.

Not-so-low-cost cheap hotel
Decent value for the location and quality of room. Breakfast was small but good to have. They love their extra charges here and make you pay ~12 euro per night more in cash on arrival to check in. Also Wifi cost 5 euro per 24 hours, and per device! As a millennial, two of us have four devices total. They didn't tell me about the per device part when I paid either. AC appeared to work but they did something to it to keep it blowing only air. Open window was much better. Overall, it was cheaply run and not as low cost as it seemed.

Cheap price for Rome, very nice stuff (they allowed me to check out later with no extra charge, borrowed a kettle, left my luggage), free and fast Internet (there was no charge for using the Internet as I read in other reviews). Clean service every day

Sleeping place next to termini
The location is great, 100m from Termini; Rom's central train station. The hotel is located in a 5 or 6 story building together with two other hotels which share a stare case and a run-down elevator. We booked two rooms in the Hotel Planet (5th floor) but stayed actually in one of the other two 'Hotels' which was located in the second floor with additional rooms in the third floor. The rooms were smallish and everything inside felt old. But it was kept clean and the beds were comfortable enough. In one room, the toilet seat was sandwiched between two walls and you had to press your butt into the gap to make it onto the seat. Funny for me; my butt is not that big, but for many, this will be impossible. Breakfast was a joke: we received a coupon to get breakfast in a small 'restaurant' next door. The coupon was good for a small piece of cake and a coffee worth €1.50. Anything beyond costs extra. But internet was OK and each room has a fairly new and effective AC unit.

Close to Roma Termini
This is a freaky place to stay for one night while waiting for your train ride to Roma airport. The only good thing about this place is its proximity to Roma Termini. There are many other hotels around, but this is just horrible. Only for people way to adventurous.

Srandard as expected but no free wifi
Note: there is no free wifi! We booked a room in this hotel but was taken downstairs to a room in another hotel. No one manned reception so we had to go upstairs to speak to someone. The room was basic, nothing special. You get what you pay for.

Great stay in Rome!
We arrived at the train station in Rome and were able to easily walk right over to our hotel. It was very close and easy to find. Check in was easy and while the room wasn't big it was perfect for one quick night in Rome. I noticed that in other people's reviews they mentioned feeling unsafe in the area. I can tell you that as three girls in our 20s travelling alone we felt safe, even walking there at night. The location was also close enough to walk around Rome to see the trevi fountain, the coliseum, the ruins and other attractions. It is a little far from the Spanish steps but still walkable. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in providing us a map and showing us where to go.

Close to Termini, Food and Supermarket!
Low-cost hotel across the Roma Termini (central metro/train station) , had breakfast and AC. It was all we needed. We figured we were going to be gone all day anyway that it was pointless to stay in an expensive hotel. Lourdes and Jonathan took care of us very well. Our room was cleaned every day. The room was small but it was just what we needed and kept us safe at night. The main door was locked at all times and needed a key to get in the hotel. The breakfast was a typical Italian one: coffee and pastry, which was enough to get us started. Hotel was right across the street from Termini, surrounded by shops, small supermarket and a pharmacy, plenty of Kebab shops, restaurants and pizzeria around: good food at a decent cost. Plenty of buses to and from many directions so it was easy to get to places where the Metro Lines couldn't reach. CONS: Not noise proof from the hallway. We could hear our loud fellow guests whenever they arrived at night/midnight. But we slept okay since tired from walking around Rome. WiFi has surcharge.

An Eye Opening Experience.
This hotel locates near the train station is a plus. Not knowing that it is one of the 3 hotels locate on the same building, we had a difficulty to find it. The staff was friendly and gave us some good advise.

Pricy 1 Star hotel but good location
Hotel is just across the street of Terravision Bus Station (bus from FCO airport to Rome Termini). Hotel is too small with very small bathroom and nothing included except toilet paper. Very cheap breakfast (only 1 small cup of coffee or orange juice and 1 croissant). The room is very hot without AC. The hotel is very pricy. I paid almost $150 for 1 night. It is 1 star hotel but not 2 stars hotel as advertised. Good thing is to keep free luggage.

terrible! - we were provided a different hotel upon arrival at this hotel. we were very tired upon arrival due to our our very early flight from Paris to Rome. then on arrival, they even made it appear that we have a choice in satin in a different hotel, but only to find out later that they do not have a room for us in that hotel when we insisted to wait for the room to be ready. They even informed me about this problem after I have paid. this practice should not be tolerated by Hotels.com

отель на 5-м этаже, есть лифт. Главное, что есть отопление, которое в феврале далеко не во всех отелях есть!Душ, новый матрац, очень скромно, но безопасно. Очень удобно, что в 5-ти минутах от отеля конечная станция многих маршрутов гор.автобусов, автобусов на аэропорт. А главное, от здания вокзала Термини 1,5 минут. На улице ночью много приличных людей (из аэропорта приезжают бизнесмены). Я путешествовала одна. Мне было комфортно. Ночью были слышны звуки от стиральной машинки из соседней комнаты, но звуков голосов не слышно (многие в отелях с 4-мя звездами ночь напролет слушают соседей, что бесит). Дают мыльце, порцию шампуня; утром талон в соседнее кафе на кофе/чай + булочка (действует с 7 до 9 по Римскому времени).Соседи - индусы,студенты. Берите сланцы для душа. Есть фен для сушки волос. Холодильника нет, есть сейф. Зимой термо-белье, как пижама, не будет лишним.Дают карту-схему для ориентирования в старом городе.

Noisy, dangerous but close to Termini
Pros: locations Cons: location, Noise, noise, noise, safety in the area, cleaning Distance to Termini is perfect as it's only steps away, but the location is very dangerous, especially when it's dark. As soon as I entered the corner of the street where the hotel is located on the very first day I stayed at the hotel, few suspicious men started following after me right until my husband came to get me... I could not sleep that night and could never walk alone nearby the hotel until I left.

ALright for a couple of nights
Nice to have a private room with en suite bathroom in Rome for £50 a night seeing as accomodation in Rome is very expensive but really it was quite basic. The "double" bed was just two singles pushed together which come apart quite easily. Some of the staff were friendly but some were rude, the instance I note was when I asked what the wifi password was, the woman seemed to take offence that I didnt know you had to pay for wifi, as assumed that it would be free seeing as its a hotel and I am used to even in hostels having free wifi. The continental breakfast was just a croissant and a coffee, nothing more. Overall it was OK and did the job that was required but I wouldnt recommend particularly

This the second time i stayed at Hotel Planet and it's about rhe same. Chose it for location to termini station and private bath and simple room. The first time in 2010 was one night. Good location for catching train. If you need a good location to train and Metro,and private shower. This place will suffice. Its not the Ritz, so don't except it. Happy Travels

Perfect Location for transport.
It should have been perfect, BUT Hotel's Reception/Check in Desk is located at the 5TH FLOOR, so you need to take their tiny elevator to go up and down like a yoyo. Luckily I was allocated on 2nd Floor but still need the elevator, The shower is so tiny can't move around and the shower curtain is too short that flooded the outer room, no bath mat to clean it up. Aircon has to figure out how it works, and too slow to kick in to get it cooler. Can't complain much as this is a 2 * Hotel and you only need a place to sleep ..a good deal as a package weekend. BUT over all a VERY good location to go around, Transport is just outside the Hotel, cafes and shops and most of all located at the very busy well known TERMINI station.

Bed was clean & comfortable but access to it was limited due to space constraints. Bathroom was smallest bathroom have ever had. Toilet was more constrictive than aeroplane toilet. Expensive for condition but location was very good.Free WiFi should if been included not additional 5 euro / day. Very Helpful staff. Overall very old facility in need of update.

Overpriced hotel
The only good thing about this hotel is its convenient location near Termini Station. Everything else was dreadful: the staff was not polite, rooms were not being cleaned properly (sometimes not being cleaned at all), brearfast was in the cafe nearby with testless coffee and yesetrday's pastry, the bed was uncomfortable.

Hotel is located right next to train station in Rome. Great for one night stay. Very simple accomodations. Breakfast included is basic bread and coffee or orange juice at a cafe across the street. One of three hotels located in one building. Internet access is not great.

This hotel was located 2 minutes from the Termini station in Rome. Being so conveniently located near the main train station was great. The room was clean & comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but not too small. The staff was friendly & helpful.
