Hotel was clean and attractivePosted Oct 14, 2014
We had a terrible experience with checkin. Young man was quite rude and argumentative. Senior staff did overhear him and corrected the situation by giving us a better room. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were wonderful as were the waitstaff at breakfast. We didnt like the area around the hotel and had to use cabs quite a bit to get to nicer areas. The AC turned off while we were out so room was quite warm when we returned also the showers were extremely small. The pillow service was a bonus!

Great StaffPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Cheerful staff at the front desk and breakfast area.
Cons: Water could be hotter.
Location: Nice quite location near the train station. Only 15minute walk to the Colseum. Large choice of resturants and market nearby.
The staff at this hotel were very helpful and answered any questions fully. Breakfast was very good and we were even accomadated before the usual start time when we had to depart in the early morning. The room was comfortable, very clean and quite. Great quality for the price.

Nice hotel, good locationPosted Oct 12, 2014
We stayed for 3 nights recently and were happy with this hotel. Comfortable and spacious enough standard double bedroom, although struggled to access WC due to poor bathroom layout. Situated on fairly central road, with easy walk to main sights in 10-15 mins. Breakfast was good although only hot options were scrambled egg and toast.

Cons: Shower could be a bit larger.

Location was good. In downtown Rome several blocks from Terminus Rail Station. Welcome by staff was very good and concierge services during stay were excellent. Room was well decorated and comfortable but small. Bath was small and shower so small we could hardly use it. Breakfast was excellent. All hotel services worked well and were easy to use. TV even had one channel in English. Hotel was about 12 minutes taxi ride to major attractions like Forum, Pantheon and Vatican. Price was reasonable for this level hotel.

great hotel near to coloseum and forumPosted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: It was quiet and offered a convenient and affordable neighborhood near sites and metro
Cons: my needs were met
Location: shopping and sites
We stayed at the Raffaello for three nights and found it comfortable and quiet. Eduardo at the front desk was terrific. While The Raffaello is away from the hustle of the Spanish steps Via Urbana on which it is located, has several charming shops and restaurants. I was surpised to find clothing and food stuffs and a breakfast spot or two -all inviting. Nearby sites include the colosseum, forum, San Clemente, and San Giovanni in Laterano.

Great locationPosted Sep 29, 2014
Location: 15 mins to colosseum and we walked to all the sights except the Vatican where we got the metro as recommended by hotel.
Ideal location only about 10 minutes stroll from train station. Friendly welcome and very helpful at reception in directions and also recommending a lovely restaurant. Room was spacious, very clean with plenty towels and toilettries in the bathroom which was a good size too. Breakfast had lots of choice and staff very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and our visit to Rome. Thank you.

Very nice hotel.Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Room size and quality.
Location: Near train station and numerous restaurants.
Great location near Rome Termini. Our room was a very good value for the money. The hotel is small, has a good staff. Breakfast was great. There is a scaffolding outside as the facade is undergoing some renovations, but noise is limited to a small number of hours mid-day. We would definitely go back.

Lovely hotel just off the main streetPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, great breakfast, nice rooms with small balcony
Cons: Directions to the hotel via public transport
Location: Excellent location tucked away just off the main street, it's peaceful yet still close to food, metro, Colesseum & Santa Maria Maggiore church
As a solo traveller it was a pleasure to come upon Hotel Raffaello after a long day on the train and metro. Tucked away just off the main street, it's peaceful yet still close to food, metro/subway and attractions. I loved coming back to this hotel after a long day of sightseeing to be greeted by staff and a nice cup of hot tea/coffee in the lobby. My room had a lovely little balcony and view of the beautiful Roman rooftops and one night I was lulled to sleep by a random accordian player on the street below my balcony - heaven! I felt very safe here and also coming back to the hotel at night as a solo female traveller and wish I could've stayed longer...
