Disappointing hotel.Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Beds were hard and nowhere to put items on the side of bed.
Location: Close to Termini train station.
Very small room that was quite uncomfortable. Bed was hard, and shower was tiny! There was nowhere to put items next to the bed.

All round good hotelPosted Mar 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel Selene is in a busy area but also very central for walking everywhere. The room was very clean and the buffet breakfast to a good standard. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Quiet sleep!Posted Jan 30, 2014
Pros: reliable wifi, great location esp. near Termini for me.
Cons: rooms needs better lighting in lamps.
Location: Nearby Termini, not exactly tourist in tourist zone but I walked to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Torre Argentina (cat sanctuary) Opera House up St.
I sure liked a quiet sleep, compfy bed and pillows, (one hard, one soft) thermal windows on quiet street of the Opera House, walking distance to Termini Station and airport bus or train. Booked a double room as a single, large room, free good wifi, breakfast buffet was typical Euro style cold choices yoghurt, juices, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, buns, sweet rolls, toast, etc plus bacon, coffee, very nice.

Very Wonderful hotel centrally locatedPosted Jan 6, 2014
It took us an extra second to find the hotel as the reception is a 2nd floor of a building that seems to house many facilities or offices besides hotel selene. Reception was nice and helpful gave us a map and showed us a few things. Our room was gorgeous and loved the drapes on top of the bed. Very comfortable. Shower could've been a drop better but I was pleasantly surprised and definitely would stay here again

Nice and simple hotelPosted Nov 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice overall. We had the room right next to the front desk, which we did not really like. The room was nice overall and the bathroom was very nice too. Breakfast was my favorite part of this place.

Nice hotel. Good value.Posted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: Very clean. Good location. Good breakfast.
Location: Close to Roma Termini station. Good restaurants nearby. Within walking distance of many sites and shopping.
We stayed at the Hotel Selene our last 2 days in Italy. The room was recently re-modeled and very nice. Very clean. Location was good. A 10 minute walk to Roma Termini and within walking distance of many of the major sites. Several good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included and was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel close to Metro stationsPosted Nov 16, 2013
The hotel is pretty new. The rooms are small but comfortable with contemporary designs. The location is also good, ten minutes walk from Rome's main train terminal and also close to the metro stations. Breakfast was good here with a variety of hot and cold choices.

Very convenient locationPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Lovely staff
Cons: Lighting in bedrooms - very dark
Location: St Mary Maggiore
Welcoming hotel in good location for getting around - very near the big bus station. Good breakfast but no lounge to sit and chill out in.
