Swimming Pool

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Clean, quiet, excellent air conditoning, helpful maids showing us how to use the door keys.
Location: Not much nearby - a typical little fishing village. Many restaurants within walking distance. Not a lot of English speaking in the shops.
We were really surprised to find out that we had to rent towels for the swimming pool. Also, had to wear a bathing cap - also had to rent/buy. There was not a singe person in the pool each time we saw it. What a shame that it was not available without these additional charges. Not that they were so expensive, but that the guests would be charged anything! Never ran into that situation before.

Clean convenient hotel

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Front desk woman very peasant but the gentleman was surly. Room with a view of the Tiber provides an active waterfront and often interesting goings on.Room very clean and comfortable. Restaurant was adequate but extremely limited menu.

Great location for last day in Italy

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Nice, clean rooms. Helpful staff. Near airport, local sights and restaurants.
Cons: Fee to use pool along with mandatory bathing cap was a bit strange.
Location: Great location with dockside view of working fishing fleet. Many local restaurants nearby. Ostia Antica nearby. Terrific alternative to airport hotel.
We stayed at Tiber Fiumicino on our last night in Italy before flying out the next day. Absolutely enjoyed the hotel and would definitely stay there again. Hotel Has views of working fishing port and watching the boats come in and display their daily catch for sale was really cool. Our room was very nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful. We stored bags with the hotel the following morning and went to Ostia Antica, which they helped arrange. There are many local, informal restaurants nearby which were very good. Would absolutely stay here again.

We thought this was an airport hotel

Posted Jun 27, 2015
We wanted a hotel at the Fiumicino airport, to sleep over if before an early morning flight out. Expedia said the hotel is at the airport -- it is not; it is a few miles out. The hotel will charge you 6 euro per person for transport to the airport. (We were not happy to discover this in the finest of fine-prints! The hotel would not budge to provide a courtesy transport, despite what is essentially false advertisement). Hotel is a bit dated; the rooms are small; the staff is not terribly helpful. For our purpose, the Hilton at the airport would have been a better choice. The hotel is in the harbor, which is nice if your destination is FIumicino.

Decent location within 10km of DaVinci airport. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Located on ship canal leading to view of the ocean.

Poor view

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Clean
Cons: Everything
Location: Walk along the shore
Poor view of the back road, instead of the fishing. Poor restaurant cooking. No access to the pool due to a private party.

Près de l'aéroport.

Posted Jun 18, 2015
