Character Hotel very close to many great sights.

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: All of the hotel staff were warm, friendly and most efficient. The reception staff were extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them!
Cons: Apart from the carpets being a little worn there is nothing more needed!
Location: Central to many great monuments, the Jewish Ghetto, the Great Synagogue of Rome are within a 5 minute walk. Buses to all locations outside the Hotel.
I spent 4 days in Rome in order to attend a friends' wedding. Everywhere I looked was another famous Roman relic. The food and the people were great. So much to choose from; it would have been wonderful to have spent more time sight seeing and soaking up the atmosphere.

Small hotel in excellent ubication

Posted Jun 29, 2014
The hotel's ubication is what makes it worthy to stay over there. The hotel staff is very kind. The breakfast was good. You have wi-fi internet in your room and in the lobby. But the room was not comfortable and looks old. It was very small, the bed and pillows weren't nice and the worst thing was a continous noise next to the room,as if there were a leak or something like that. I would choose another hotel if I come back to Rome.

Can't fault the hotel - location was absolutely perfect, all of the main attractions are within about a 15 minute walk, the hotel staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful with directions and places to go in the evening, the room itself was also great we had all that we needed and plenty of space!

Nice hotel close to the sights

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: It was ideally situated good value for money hotel and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: The hotel common areas and stairs are a little shabby and needs some TLC but not so that it detracts from a comfortable stay
Location: Location was excellant with the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps all in easy walking distance
The hotel was ideally situated for a city break and everything was within a reasonable walking distance. The room size was fair and the bed was comfortable. The room unusally included a bath and shower which was great and the air conditioning was a joy to behold. We thoroghly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel. The only downside was the breakfast. There was sufficient quantity but the bacon and eggs could be improved. However the crossants were fine. The hotel was a liitle shabby but this did not distract from a good overall stay. It was good value for money.

Great location for the price

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Staff, free delicious breakfast, price and location
Cons: Room smell and cleanliness
Location: Walking distance from most major site (Coloseum, Pantheon, Vatican, Trevi Fountain)
The Hotel Tiziano was a great price for the location. The staff (especially Daniel) were wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. The room was extremely basic and smelled of smoke; however, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi worked great and the shower was nice and warm. Climate control and TV were also good.

Excellent location

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: location
Location: Pantheon
The location of the hotel is great and we were able to walk to all the sights. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. However, the room was shabby and a bit depressing. Fortunately we didn't spend much in the room.

Perfect location

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Location! location! location! Computer available for guest use.
Cons: They need to give out better maps (fold out type such as the one provided by the hotel next door. One missed wake up call. Antique phone system.
Location: Major sight nearby. on a hot afternoon, or you need a clean bathroom, you can stop back at the hotel for a siesta. Tram and bus right there.
I lived here as a student many years ago and was lucky enough to get the room I had as a student. The rooms are not luxurious, but very comfortable and a bargain for the location and price. If you can get one, there are a few courtyard rooms. The courtyards are tiny, but what a wonderful escape from the noise of Rome. Daniel at the reception desk is outstanding. Always cheerful even after what seems like endless shifts.
