Only if you have meetings at IFAD

Posted Jan 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
A reasonable place to stay for ONE night. If you have meetings in the surrounding area, or if you have family giving birth near by. It is quiet and moderately comfortable. The internet was quirky and only worked on my iProducts. After your meetings, head into town for a more cultural experience. There are very limited dining options with out a considerable walk.

Good for business, not so good for tourism

Nice, clean and friendly hotel if you are doing business in the area. If you are a tourist, it is a bit far from the interesting areas of the city.

Convenient location

Very good overall. Parked the car in secure garage. Close to metro station, ATM, restaurant and grocery store. A little overpriced ... as everything in Rome.

Good hotel near the Center dei Congressi

Posted Apr 23, 2013
The hotel is OK. One should take in mind that the hotel is far from the city center. It is about an hour to get there by metro, especially in evening and if one have to change lines in metro. Closest supermarket is on the way to metro (e.g. 10 minutes walking from the hotel). Closest cafes that I have found are across the park and near Center dei Congressi. Dinners in the hotel are good and not too expensive but one have to make reservation beforehand.

Comfy but a bit overpriced

Posted Jun 18, 2012
Pros: Very good maid service. Good breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.
Cons: No real frills - a functional room with little to offer. No wifi internet and couldn't connect during my stay.
Location: Near the metro - easy 10 minute walk. Nothing else in the neighborhood except for IFAD.
A nice little hotel, but a bit expensive for the location. It is near the Laurenita metro and therefore connected to the center of Rome. There are very little frills in this hotel, however. The rooms are kept very clean and they are comfortable. Breakfast is nice and the hotel is well managed. No wireless internet and couldn't figure out how to connect. A functional and comfortable place to stay overall, but a bit overpriced. Given the rather dubious location and lack of real stand out qualities, I would not recommend this hotel - a little too expensive for what it offers.
