Good all round hotelPosted Oct 12, 2013
This hotel is mins from everything you need to see in rome It's a basic hotel that is very clean With a nice breakfast No it's not a 5 star hotel or a 4 star But it is a ok 2 to 3 star Remember your only mins away from everything and at a very good price for a clean friendly hotel Yes we have all stayed in 5 star hotels but if you want that sort of hotel in rome you will pay 5 times more Remember you only sleep in the room and most of the day you will be out and about in rome All in all it's a nice hotel for the money and clean The staff are very nice and help with maps etc is always on hand I have stayed in a lot better hotels all over the world and I have stayed in a lot of dumps ( this hotel is in no way a dump The hotel is a nice little hotel that will do the job for a few days or a long weekend in rome don't expect a 5 star ( your in rome and the star system is not like Spain or London ) this is a city hotel that is what it is it's not trying to say its a top hotel It's a nice value for money hotel in the heart of rome I will return to this hotel I have stayed in many around rome at over priced over the top hotels And this little hotel is just fine

Triniti dei Monti Hotel, RomePosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Hotel manager, Antonio very helpful and friendly. Great position
Cons: Maintenance issues - door locks, broken hinges and air con.
Location: 2 min walk fr Barbarini Piazza. Tour bus stop close, spanish steps & triniti dei monti. Do not drink in Bar Sistine in same road-prices total rip off
Hotel staff fantastic. Very helpful & knowledgeable. Good position & safe area. 5 minute walk from open top tour bus. However, the hotel condition very disappointing. It could be a beautiful hotel & probably was at one point, but now very dated & run down. Our room was dark, dingy & very hot & stuffy. The air con didn't work (we were not told this on booking or on arrival) & 1 fan had been put in the room to try & compensate, but it was pointless. Shower screen door broken & I mean completely off it's hinges, so it fell on you when you tried to close the screen to stop water from flooding bathroom floor. Bathroom very damp and main bathroom door had no handle on door. Both my son & daughter got locked in there. We were only there for 1 night & it was literally a place to rest our heads so we didn't bother complaining. However, for a £135 for the night, would have expected a better standard.

When in RomePosted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Price and location
Cons: The poor bathroom and the air conditioning that was broken
Location: Set in the heart of Rome, it is a great location for getting out and about. Situated only 100 meters from a Metro station it was perfect
The area is a great asset for the hotel situated as it is in the heart of Rome. There was private parking in the same street so easy to get there and leave the car using the Metro station that is only 100 meters away. The room was adequate however the bathroom was old and poorly laid out with the sink being directly in front of the toilet. The price was the best qspect.

Two-star with best location vs. pricePosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were wary about booking this hotel after reading the mixed reviews, but ended quite satisfied: The hotel is by no means a three-star, but it has an exellent location/price. Room and bathroom were comfortably large, even when decor and cleanliness were poor. Included continental breakfast was acceptable. Free WiFi reached our room, perhaps because we were in the same level +2 as the reception and restaurant. Noise from the street was significant. The "digital" TV is basic cable with all-Italian channels. Receptionist Antonio was a great help in planning each day and making reservations. Overall, if you don't mind sub-three star accomodations, you will not find a better location vs. price than this in Rome.

Excellent location, close to all major sites.Posted Mar 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was comfortable for me, the room was a single room but I had enough space and the staff was very curteous and helpful. The room was clean. This hotel has no amenities, but i wasn't looking for any amenities, location was all I needed for this trip.

Happily stay again!Posted Nov 30, 2012
Pros: Excellent, helpful staff!
Location: Stone's throw from the Spanish Steps!
Extremely convenient to everything Rome! Only a few buildings down from the Spanish Steps. Antonio checked us in and gave us superb advice on what to see each day! Room was clean, breakfast was fine, Internet was easy for entire family on many devices. No chair in our room, only beds... Then again, too exhausted to sit after walking Rome! Don't expect an English breakfast. It did the job and cappuccino was perfect kick start to the day!
