“4 to 5 star”
Great hotel, great staff, great food, and everyone was extremely helpful. They had a great shuttle that was a short ride to the Vatican and center of town.
“Modern design, dark rooms”
This designer hotel puts 80's chic style above customer comfort. Rooms are clean but very dark due to the "dramatic" design. It is away from most tourist locations and in a residential area, so unless you have a reason to be on Monte Mario as I did, I would not stay here.
“A good stay”
Location of this hotel is a bit inconvenient. You can take the shuttle bus downtown, but it does't go back in the evening. Your other public transportation options are the bus, or the train station at 800 m. The train station connects to the subway. Breakfast buffet was fine.
“can't go back”
Missed opportunity- Overrated (4-star!!) and mismanaged. Very nice building, well designed, in a very clean and quite neighborhood, but very poor managemnet and service. reception presonnel is not attentive, or not available, in some case- rude with guests. The hotel is remotely locate dto downtown Rome, and the once a day hotel shuttle van with limited seating (not more than 8 or 9 passengers) with scheduel that changes every day and a driver who woudl not even stop at the downtwon location to pick up guests made this othresise nice facility an aggrevationg experience. Do not plan on being able to charge your i-phone, I-pod or other electronic devices as the only electrical outlet in the room is the one the TV is hooked up. Do not plan on usin the computer and printer while you stay there, as you will spned money on something you may not be able to print (unles you bring your own cartrudge). You will do well if room teperature of min 78F does not bother you as you can not change the Ac setting to anything less. Do not plan on taking a warm water shower every day, and learn your way with the metro and bus as public transportation is reliable and the only alternative to taking a cab (taxi). Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel, but fimd a different place for dinner. Be perpared to leave your passport when asked at the receptrion desk and be ready to offer your passport if you want to have access to internet. If your expectations are that of a camping, you'll love it !
“Decent place near Felice Rome Center”
This hotel is located in Monte Mario and we stayed there to be near our son who is a student at Loyola University John Felice Rome Center. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful with directions and information.
“Great hotel”
Only negative is it is 3-4 miles from the city center.
“Highly recommended.”
My friend and I booked our stay here at the last minute after travelling to Rome from Paris and found a really good deal (student budgets). We were extremely pleased with EVERYTHING. Breakfast was awesome. The rooms were a good size and extremely clean and comfortable. The lady who greeted us at the front desk was really sweet and REALLY helpful. Took a few minutes to go over a map with us and show us some places we should visit. The hotel also has a free stuttle that goes into the city a few times every morning and a few times to bring you home at night. The hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown Rome (the Vatican, etc) and from there everything is in walking distance. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our trip.
“Hotel Zone”
This is a great hotel to stay in. It a little bit far from downtown Rome but they have a free shuttle services everyday. Continental breakfast is great. They have fruits, croissants, juice, hot chocolate, milk, coffee of all kinds, cereals, etc. They will find you a taxi to take to the airport if you need to. If you have time you can take the train to Roma Termini from the Balduina Station and once in Termini connect to Fuimicio Airport. It will save you a lot of money and you can enjoy more the sorroundings (only if you have time). You can see almost everything in 2-3 days in Rome. The hotel will provide you a map per your request at the front desk and their shuttle will drop you at Piazza Cavour. From there you can almost walk everywhere. Our first day we walked all over saw the Patheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Spagnola, Colliseum, and many more places with our children in their stroller. The second day was around the Vatican surroundings and free places and the third day was just the Vatican Musseum. The last Sunday of every month the museum opens for free until 2:00 pm. The cost for the museum on a regular day is around 16 euros.
“Good Hotel outside of city”
The hotel itself was clean and modern and the staff were friendly. The major downside is that it is about a 15 minute ride from the city center. They offer shuttles, but the times are not always convenient. It's about a 10-15 euro cab ride from the city center, so if you don't mind paying that, this is a great hotel for you.
“VARIOUS”
THEY HAVE SERVICES, LIKE SHUTTLE, AND THEY DON'T SAID NOTHING. I KNOW THAT BECAUSE I SAW THIS IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WHEN I MAKE MY CHECK OUT. THEY ARE LIKE AMERICAN STYLE, I PREFER DECORATION LIKE ITALY, ROMANTIC.
