Good hotel for Family with Teenagers

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Wifi, vending machines/ self service bar (not free but still good value), good sized room for our family
Cons: nothing that I can think of.
Location: 20 mins walk from Colosseum, 25 mins walk from Trevi fountain/spanish steps (don't forget your map though!)
Easter break in Rome - 2 adults and 2 teenage sons (15 and 17). Shared a Quad room - consisted of - king sized bed, double sofa bed and single bed - all very comfortable. Large bathroom with full sized bath & overbath shower. Free Wifi very useful - as only 1 channel on TV in English - not that we spent much time in the room - as too much to see outside! Vending machines were indeed good value - and useful for teen-time that does not always match up to normal eating time (breakfast in hotel finishes at 10:30am). We used the roof garden most evenings - for a nightcap and a game of table football. Location not perfect for some - as about a 20min walk to main sites (with St Peters further out) but for an active family like ours - it was ideal and ment that we did get to explore quite a lot of the city centre - that we not have normally done. It was a lovely break and we would stay here again.

Great hotel close to all the major attractions

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Perhaps a bar and restaurant.
Location: Very conveniently located between the train station and the major attractions. Lots of good bars and restaurant's within easy walking distance.
Stayed for 3 nights, the staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and provide information on how to get to all the major attractions. All were within a 30 minute walk except for the Vatican but the Metro line was just a few minutes away so that was not a problem. We do not usually have breakfast in the hotel but tried it the first morning and was so impressed decided to have it everyday. The rooftop garden was great for relaxing in.

Clean, modern hotel, well located

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Modern, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was good
Cons: One minor point was that our room was near a vending room with a microwave in it. In the morning we could hear other guests using it (beeping).
Location: Convenient for the train station and major attractions. Not on a major road, so quieter than some other hotels.Next to Opera house
A great hotel in a good location. We had a fabulous stay.

Nice hotel but a little too basic for its price

Posted Apr 4, 2014
The location to this hotel is great, easy access to the main tourist attractions. The vending machines were also fantastic as it provided great value for meney with snacks, drinks etc Disappointed that the roof top was covered and you couldn't see the views of the city. Also wasn't very happy with two singles beds pushed together to make a double. The hotel is very modern, lacks character but if your not bothered about that then this is the place for you! Great service by the staff ;)

Perfect hotel with great location.

Loved the hotel. Easy to walk to all activities but quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Friendly, helpful staff. Garden roof top lounge is great to relax and enjoy a bottle of wine after a hectic day. Would definitely use again.

Great city hotel

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: IQ is close to everything. Anytime we needed assistance the staff were very helpful.
Location: Close to the metro which makes all of Rome's attractions easy to access.
We really enjoyed the vending options and self laundry. The location of this hotel is close to the Republica metro stop and very close to the tremini station. We had 2 children (ages 5 and 8) with us and the room was a generous size by European standards. We ate breakfast here each morning and it was a great way to plan our day and get going.

Functional and well located

Great hotel - room was a little too cool despite attempts to adjust the temperature, but otherwise couldn't be faulted for the price. Recommended.
