Nice Hotel and budget friendly.

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: The vending machines to purchase beverages and even alcohol was very convenient.
Location: A little further than I'd like to be from the attractions but Rome is large so it's kind of hard to be in the middle of everything.
pleasant experience. Would consider staying next time in Rome.

Different, but in a good way.

Posted Nov 20, 2014
First of all I must say that the staff are incredibly friendly, speak good English (as well as several other languages), and are very helpful. They were happy to recommend restaurants and shops, and tell us information that helped us out. They were professional and always in a good mood, which is a nice change to a lot of places I have stayed. Next thing I must say is about the cleanliness of the hotel, it is second to none. The room are made spotless, the corridors are hoovered daily, the floors are always clean and tidy - they take cleanliness very seriously. Then there's the hotel itself, it is a very unique hotel, and I mean it in a good sense. I booked this hotel for me and my girlfriend for her birthday as it is perfectly located - the right balance between being close to local attractions and out of the way enough to be reasonably quiet. Its a mile or so walk to both the Trevi fountain and the Coliseum. The hotel is very simple, it is designed in a way so that guests can be self sufficient for a lot more things: They have vending machines for things like wine, beer, champagne; they have vending machines for food, snacks, soft drinks; they have vending machines for utilities and toiletries; they have a guest microwave; and they have ice dispensers and hot water dispensers. So you can sort yourself out a snack, or make a pot noodle if you really want, and what's really great is it is much cheaper than any shop nearby! There's is also a roof terrace which is very nic

Modern hotel in a great location

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: We loved the clean modern feel. The hotel staff was excellent. The location was amazing, and they had a great breakfast buffet.
Location: Walking distance to major attractions (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain), but it's also incredibly close to the Termini.
My husband and I stayed at IQ Hotel Roma for a week for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful stay! The hotel staff was incredibly helpful. We were able to lock away our bags until it was time to check in, and throughout our stay the front desk staff answered all of our questions and gave us great suggestions. The hotel had an amazing location being so close to the Termini. We had no issues walking to most places, but if we didn't want to walk the Termini was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting Rome.

Great location to termini station!

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: Location, room size, view from room, bathroom
Cons: Breakfast room, reception staff need better training
Location: Great location, near Termini.
Great hotel with a clean new modern appearance, room was spacious and bathroom was modern. Facilities in the hotel are basic and work through vending machines, the breakfast in the morning could be improved, as it runs out of food quickly. Location is the biggest plus, next is the modern appearance, and thirdly was the reasonable price. Unfortunately the staff were not as helpful as they could be, but the management rectify problems swiftly, which is worth knowing they care.

Newer hotel next to the Opera

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: Great room. The location on a side street next to the Opera mitigated noise but still close to the main train station and metro.
Cons: The bed was a little firm.
Location: All Rome has to offer is at your doorstep.
Very nice hotel newer hotel in a great location next to the Opera, but we couldn't get a taxi from the train station - none would take a "short ride" fare, so we had to schlep our luggage four blocks to/from the hotel. Quaint cobblestones and luggage on rollers don't mix well. Metro stop 1-1/2 blocks away - sweet!

Pleasant retreat in Rome

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Great place which was a nice get away from the bustling streets of Rome. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was convienantly close to everything including the train station and coliseum. Only drawbacks were the bed was incredibly firm and the dryer in the laundry room required two runs even with a small load (bringing the total for a small load of laundry to 12 euros). The roof is a must see. No great view but stopping up with a bottle of wine was a wonderful way to decompress after a hectic day of sight seeing.
