Reasonable location and comfort level

The hotel was pleasant enough and in a quiet location. It would have been nice to know that the Hotel carpark was secured.

Nice breakfast and pleasant staff in Pomezia

Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the Idea Pomezia as a stop along the way and not as a destination. Our first night in Italy in 14 years. The area seemed a little questionable. Upon entry, the staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful. We found the facilities very clean and modern. Hotel temperature in hot conditions were nice and cool. Morning complementary breakfast was above average with good quality meats, bread and other offerings. We would stay again.

Would not stay here again!

Posted Aug 20, 2009
Despite having read previous reviews about the hotel, I still thought to give this hotel a chance. Big mistake....the service was as poor as previously mentioned. The hotel staff could not have been more unhelpful. That plus the fact that this hotel is miles away from the city center made me rethink my stay here. I don't think I would want to stay here again ever!

not happy!

Posted Jun 8, 2009
The hotel said it had 24 hour room service it DIDN'T!! The room was very basic, the wall paper was ripped it was old fashioned looking! the hotel was in the middle of no where, buses came every 2 hours! It was very hard to get to rome daily, i wouldn't stay in this hotel again also because of the staff as they were sometimes rude and unhelpful. One night we wanted to eat at the restaurant i was told one minute it was open the next it was closed! we hadn't eaten since lunch so by 8pm we was very hungry and there is no restaurants close by the hotel so i complained they was very unhelpful after an hour they called us a pizza place and we had take away pizza at 9.30! wish we stayed in rome centre!! oh and to get a cup of tea seemed to be to much for them!!!

Would use again

The hotel was as expected. We picked it for familiarity with the chain. We were happy with the level and standard. It was good value. Only drawback was it is quite far from Rome city centre. But we enjoyed the tranquillity after the mayhem of Rome. Would go back again.

Dont Book it if you are visiting Rome

This hotel is not bad, but is extremely far from central Rome. Taxi will cost you 50 euros to go there. Bus service is limited.
