Did not have our room on arrival and was allocated another room at 1am. There is a busy gay bar downstairs and was not ideal after an 8 hour flight as the room was right above it. Location however is great, right across the road from the Colosseum. Couple of restaurants and a convenience store around. Room is basic, had great pillows in the 2nd floor room. Will stay again, but will ask for a room not road facing.

Great room, great location.
This doesn't look like not much on the outside, but it was very clean and nice on the inside. Room completely remodeled. Great location, it is literally across from the Colosseum. Or room was on the 3rd floor, but the office manager kindly took our big suitcases upstairs for us. They also arranged for a taxi to pick us up to go to airport. Lots of choices to eat nearby. Noisy when window was open but no noise with window shut. I would reccommend and definitely stay again.

The hotel was very close to the colosseum and restaurants, all walkable. The room was clean and nice, AC worked great when you needed it, but we went in October so we just left the room window open. There is a bar below so if it gets noisy you can just close the window. Staff were great and they will hold your luggage on your check out date. We would go back.

Older place close to the Colosseum
I only had one night here. It is super close to the Colosseum but the room was in need of an update. The tap and pay doesn't work and there's no elevator which wasn't a problem for me but may be for others. The shower was leaky all over the floor. In a pinch it's an ok place to stay but glad it was only for one night. One positive was that the staff was very kind.

basic room was ok, you’re paying for the location more than anything. you do have to give your keys in when you go out though, they shut the doors at midnight. was ok as a base for exploring everywhere in rome!

The place to stay near the Colosseum
This is the place to stay if you want to be close to the Colosseum! We tried 2 rooms: a triple (3 twin beds, 2 were pushed together and one was separate), and a double (2 twin beds pushed together). The triple was on the 1st floor and very large and roomy. The double was on the 3rd floor and had a view of the Colosseum (but was pretty small). The rooms have air conditioners operated by remote control. This location is amazing! Steps from the Colosseum and bus line. Lots of restaurants and a bar and gelato shop right outside the door.

The property was very basic. It was OK, and the front desk staff was very nice, but the Expedia listing is deceptive. It says it has on-site parking options. It does not. There is offsite garage parking that is not associated with the hotel that cost us more than 50 euros per night to park at. We were disappointed because we picked this hotel because it said it had onsite parking.

As I booked at Imperial Rooms, couple of days before my stay, hotel management told me that some maintenance work was happening in hotel so my stay need to be moved to their another hotel which is far from Imperial Rooms location. Such a inconvenient.

It’s pretty much just a room with a bed. Which is fine if you’re just looking for a place to stay near the Colosseum. The staff were friendly and helpful. You’re paying more for the location than anything else. The restaurants down stairs and really nice and there are good links to public transport around.

It was a great stay. It’s between a friendly bar and a nice place to eat. Right by the colosseum. Plenary of food places and a pharmacy nearby. I’ll book again.

we are sorry for his dissatisfaction but if you read it well in the portal it is specified that the structure is not equipped with lift as it is a historical palace of 1600 that is over 400 years old and is under the constraint of the fine arts so we apologize for the inconvenience

Clean hotel close to the Colosseum
The hotel was nice and clean. Our room was advertised as having a view, but you had to stick your head out the window to actually see the Colosseum. There are a few restaurants and bars below the hotel that are popular and stay open very late. The noise did not bother us at all, but if you are a light sleeper I saw ear plugs available in the office. There were lots of restaurants and corner stores near the hotel and it is just across the street from the Colosseum and a two minute walk to the Metro.

Great choice!
This place was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable. Warning: you may have a detached bathroom down a short hall. The breakfast was the best part with coffee from freshly ground beans and lovely service.

Stayed in room 101, above the bars music played to at least 3 o’clock in the morning, even the supplied ear plugs could not block out the thudding bass, sorry to say would not recommend this place, shame really because location is superb 🙁🙁🙁

Location and the service are amazing. But inside the room comfort is not really great. Starting with the bed( is spewing box which is not comfortable at all, the tv is so small that it was better to just watch my sell phone)

Friendly staff, close to the Coliseum
I have to say that my experience at this hotel was for the most part positive. This was due in part to two individuals (can't recall names). One was the young lady who prepared breakfast every morning and was also responsible for cleaning the rooms. Not only was she professional, but she was accommodating. She is a definite asset to this hotel and should be commended. Secondly, was the gentleman who ran the desk at night. He was also professional and very friendly. They both made me feel like my business was important to them and wanted to make sure that I was a happy customer. Based on these two people (who have worked for the hotel for quite some time), I would definitely recommend staying.

Nice hotel close to Colliseum
After a few hiccups, the stay ended up being quite nice. I would like to mention two individuals in particular, one was the young lady who cleaned my room and also was responsible for preparing breakfast every morning. She is a definite asset to this hotel and should be commended. When I had an issue, she went above and beyond to assist me and make me feel like my business was important to her. Secondly, was the gentleman who worked the desk at night. He was also very professional and worked hard to make sure that my concerns were addressed. I want to personally thank both of them for making sure that I was eventually 100 percent satisfied.

Rome Trip
The hotel is in the best location that you can be if you are looking to do the tours or Rome attractions. It's a block from the Colosseum. But the most valuable thing that we loved the most was the staff that they have, They are the best. Also have an excellent free breakfast included. BUT, it does get really noisy at night cause of the clubs that are in the area. No Elevator

Great location prepare for no sleep great staff
Staff were amazing, very helpful and go above and beyond for you. Very close to Colosseum literally across the road it's amazing to wake up to and across from the metro so you can travel cheaply anywhere -prime position. Basic rooms, do have a safe, hair dryer etc. Breakfast is basic but they make the best coffee in Rome and that is no exaggeration! The only issue is the lack of sleep, the accommodation is located above a very loud bar where the music does go on until the early hours - the b&b does supply earplugs but they won't work as it is so loud. It was the only downfall to our trip as you are very tired at the end of the day from walking around sites etc. and all you want is a decent night sleep but you can't get one. If you are up for a trip that involves staying up late partying then this is the place for you but not really for a family or those wanting eight hours sleep. Despite the lack of sleep we really enjoyed our stay and were looked after really well.

Convenient Location
From the hotel's location it is easy to walk to many sights and to access public transportation. The room was also reasonably priced. Due to the location, the noise level is often high and with multiple bars on the street below, it can be loud throughout the night (particularly on the weekend). The hotel was relatively clean, but older and lacking conveniences often present in more modern hotels (this is common in Italy, so be prepared). The bed and pillow were uncomfortable and did not provide a particularly good night's sleep. Additionally, a full size bed is really just two twin mattresses pushed together (also common).

Honeymoon in Rome
The location is great. The reception desk help was very good. Room below American standards 1 bath tub shower leaker all over the floor all the time, a lot of water. 2. No microwave in room 3. Breakfast room that had microwave gets locked after breakfast. 4. Light bulbs missing in bedroom. 5. Television does not have any English speaking stations. 6. No elevator. Stairwell not lit well at night. 7. Location great, we had great time in Rome

Interesting sites
Really a kind family hotel. The disco music at 11 pm every night is a bit rough but the location and owners make up for the noise. A nice breakfast daily outside on a patio and across the street from the Colosseum. At the price, well worth staying.

Got upgraded to 309 definitely regret not booking it in first place beautiful jetted tub and the windows open and you lean to the left and boom there it is the colosseum breath taking from your window

We stayed for 4 nights,the staff was so helpful,we arrived early at 11:00, our room was ready in 10 minutes, staff carried my luggage up the stairs,when my son lost his wallet at a cafe,the manager called the place for us inquiring about it (as we don't speak Italian)-it was there! and arranged for him to pick it up. very clean,comfy,secure,loved Italian decor!

The location is great, the only issue is that there are no elevators and we had to carry three luggages to the third floor. The rest was great

Regarding the lack of an elevator, all we can do is carry bags for our guests. Our rooms are situated in a Historial buildings, where is not allowed to install elevators. Good location. Many tourists were there sitting outside with restaurant tables, just across the street from the Colosseum, and less than 10 minutes walk from Sapienza University, 5 minutes walk from the Metro B line (Colosseo station). Free WiFI, clean room. There was a small balcony from my room but I did not go outside. LCD TV (maybe 20-inch?) with many channels. Friendly staff: one daytime and one night time. Sometimes they stepped out. You were asked to leave your key when going out, but the staff could step out, and I waited for over 5 minutes. No elevator. My room was on the 3rd floor. I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. The steps were made of marble but some steps were a little wobbly or cracked. The circuit breaker tripped 3 times my first night and cut power to my room and the WiFi on my floor. The breaker was just covered by a poster board. The staff reset the breaker twice and I just reset it myself the 3rd time. Free breakfast starting 7:30. They had tables indoors and outdoors. Bread, yogurt, cereal, pastry, and coffee. The staff could make the coffee for you or you do it yourself. on checkout, I was asked to pay a 7-euro city tax, which was also stated on the reservation confirmation.
