Hotel Flora is a classy and sophisticated hotel. Beautiful garden full of water fountains and large Camilia trees and a lawn for guests to sit out and enjoy. A very large and spacious lobby with an elevator to the rooms. Staff are very discreet and friendly. The air conditioned room was very light, airy with a large bed and modern furnishings with a generous terrace (with a table and chairs) giving a sensational view of the trees, hills and grand old villas in the distance. Sky TV was available with scores of channels in several languages. The marble bathroom was huge with all the usual furnishings of a grand hotel. The shower was a bit tricky but it was OK in the end.Breakfast was a feast, no complaints at all.The staff were very kind and friendly. Road noise was not a problem at all, the hotel was very quiet so sleep was not interrupted.
A wonderful, luxurious experience.

Beautiful place to stay in very private and quiet neighborhood. Room, staff and breakfast were beautiful. We were in room 4 or 6 which was on main level behind desk and kitchen so a little loud in morning so request other rooms. Beautiful sitting area outside. It was nice to stay away from crowded touristy areas but it did require a slight walk (10-15Min) to get to Metro (Flamino) station. As a result did discover Borghese Park which is beautiful and would not have seen otherwise. Would definitely recommend, very friendly and helpful staff.

"Charming & beautiful Hotel by St Peter's Basilica"
This beautiful property became my home away from home for a full week in Rome. Nestled in an intimate Italian neighborhood, very close to St Pietro metro station and bus stop and just steps from restaurants and minutes walk to St Peter's square and Basilica. From the minute I arrived, i was received warmly and called by my name. The hotel personnel was extremely gracious and responsive to my needs. My room was small but cozy, with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. My Room overlooked St Peter's Dome. With fully functional wi fi and a delicious breakfast buffet served by Guido in their beautiful terrace, my needs were all covered. This is a new property with beautiful room furnishings, just the right size and crystal clean and modern bathrooms. Pleasing facilities with a small elevator available. Thank you to the wonderful front desk staff for your warmth and professional attention. I highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

The hotel was in a nice quiet neighborhood. I felt safe. Though I would have liked a place that had more restaurants and sites that were close by. It was super easy to get to the metro though. The bathroom and bed was nice. Its a nice place if you don't mind taking the metro to go see the sites and then return to a quiet little place. The restaurant up the street on the corner was delicious though!

My wife and I spent 4 nights in Hotel Romano in October 2014. 3 mins from The Colosseum and the Metro station it was the ideal location for visiting Rome, central, comfortable and friendly. Lack of ground-floor facilities not a problem as everything on hand just outside hotel door, food, shops, post, etc.
