Close to all the important sites.

Pros: Centrally located.
Cons: Needs renovation
Location: Visit the collesium ,the Vatican,the old sites.
The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. The best Thinge about the Hotel IS That it is very Chose to all the good Sites . Walking distance.

this is a beautiful hotel

Pros: Location and staff were great
Cons: this hotel needs a facelift in the rooms
Location: this hotel is close to all the shopping areas. Great cafes and restaurants too. The metro near the hotel would take you to all the different sights.
this hotel is ideally located at the top of Spanish Steps. It's close to the metro. The room I booked for three people was a little on the small side but all hotels in Rome have small rooms. Great breakfast buffet. The staff was always happy to help and very knowledgeable. They helped with booking taxis and restaurant reservations.

Beware of what you put in the room safe

Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Toilets could be cleaner. Look at some details like slow water flow outlet in the basin.
Location: Excellent shopping location.
Location excellent. Typically 5 star chains with good impression all round. You need to be careful what you put in the room safe. Although you set your own digital password, money was missing from my second wallet which I keep only in the safe and don't take around. They take only partial amount from the wallet so that you don't notice. I realize it only after arriving my new destination. About £200 was missing the the stack of £300. I had about €500 which is in tact. I suspect someone has a master password to the room safe. I have written to the Managemet of the hotel.

Perfect location

Perfect location in the heart of Rome with an elegant atmospehere. Minibar and roomservice charges are however rudely overpriced.

Great hotel, great location

The Hotel De La Ville was in a perfect location to see everything in Rome and close to shopping. The staff was very friendly. The concierge gave us some great restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

Location: la posizione é fantastica e attorno c'é tutta la roma da visitare
arrivo alle 13 all'hotel, la stanza non é pronta nonostante avessimo avvisato che con due bambini piccoli avevamo bisogno di un early check in. la stanza, una junior suite pagata 1900 eur per due notti, si libera alle 16. è orribile, stretta e lunga, poco illuminata, con un mezzo divano letto all'ingresso e due letti matrimoniali nella stanza principale. la moquette per terra puzza e il bagno é senza doccia ma con una vasca e un telo. l'hotel si compone di due corpi principali, uno storico da dove vi si accede ed un altro moderno che in pratica é un condominio anni '50 sistemato trent'anni fa, quindi assolutamente non all'altezza delle cinque stelle e dei 1900 eur per due notti. la colazione é da velo pietoso anche quella, ci sono poche robe, nessuna fresca, per dare un'idea i croissant sono lasciati sotto le lampade rosse come quelle dell'autogrill!! ci volevano anche far pagare 50eur di wifi, mi sono palesemente lamentato e ce li hanno stornati, ma é vergognoso

Gent.mo Traveler, Grazie per il suo commento. Siamo rammaricati nel comprendere che il nostro Hotel non è stato all’altezza delle sue aspettative. Riguardo la struttura e la disposizione delle camere, come saprà il nostro Hotel è ospitato in un edificio storico nel centro di Roma, che condiziona le dimensioni delle nostre stanze, che comunque rimangono in linea con le dimensioni standard degli hotel del centro di questa città. Il “condominio” a cui fa riferimento è la parte definita “casa nuova”, dove sono ospitate molte delle nostre stanze e Terrazza Roma, il nostro rooftop restaurant. Riguardo agli inconvenienti a cui fa riferimento all’interno della stanza, dal nostro storico non risultano segnalazioni relative alla suite a cui fa riferimento. Esortiamo fortemente i nostri ospiti a farci pervenire qualsiasi tipo di mancanza o insoddisfazione nei confronti delle condizioni della stessa, in modo che il nostro Front Office effettui qualsiasi tipo di sforzo per soddisfare le esigenze dell’ospite. Siamo comunque dispiaciuti che la stanza non l’abbia soddisfatta a pieno. Riguardo la colazione, le lampade rosse a cui fa riferimento sono quelle utilizzate in maniera consueta per mantenere le pietanze calde, come saprà una brioche appena realizzata servita calda mantiene le qualità del suo sapore in maniera decisamente superiore rispetto alla stessa servita ad una temperatura differente; inoltre non potremmo essere più dispiaciuti nel leggere che il buffet previsto nelle nostre colazioni non sia stato di suo gradimento, e per tale circostanza vorremmo scusarci. Allo stesso siamo estremamente dispiaciuti per ciò che riguarda la connessione wi-fi, comprendiamo il suo rammarico, ma come saprà le nostre tariffe rimangono competitive rispetto agli altri cinque stelle del centro di Roma. Great position, great service, exceptional!

Great position above Spanish steps.. central to shopping and sightseeing.. extremely helpful staff .. Spacious room .. Good room service at reasonable prices .. The only place to stay in Rome.

世界各地のインターコンチネンタルに泊まったことが有ったが今回ローマにふさわしい素敵な印象でした。高級感を漂い、一流のサービス、朝食は二階テラス豊富で美味しい。一番素晴らしいのは、ホテル最上階オープンテラスレストランで夕陽を沈んでゆくと見ながら、ローマの夜景を楽しむ。本番イタリア料理も美味しい!イタリアワインも最高!最後ジェラトも美味しかった!家族で最高の思い出になった!
