“Great Family Stay”

We took 4 of our children (ages 23,21,18,14) and it was a great place! We had 2 rooms. The breakfast was excellent-meats, cheeses, eggs, pastry, fruit etc. The location was great-right next to the Forum and the walk was just beautiful! We walked everywhere and even though it was cold we had an awesome time. Would stay here again.

“Very nice stay”

The hotel is very nice and the staff very helpful. The breaksfast is big and offers variety. The view of the ruins was incredible. The only draw back is that although close to the Ancient Ruins, it is a hike to other attractions.

“Great Choice!”

We were delighted with the Kolbe Hotel Rome. The rooms were modern with every amenity. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The continental-plus breakfasts were free. The location was fantastic, especially if you like to walk, and we walked all over North Rome, Pantheon area, Historical Rome and the riverfront from there. We were right across the street from Palatine Hill, and being near the Tiber River was an unexpected bonus.

“Loved this hotel”

Just got back July 28th,2008,loved this hotel, traveled with husband and two kids, stayed in a duplex room, wow, had a view of the garden, great breakfast which included scrambled eggs, breads, meats, juices, fruit and great coffees. Great looking hotel, clean, modern. Stayed a few days before our mediterranean cruise and a few days after our cruise, glad we did it,loved Rome, loved this hotel. Hotel also has a great bar. I would rate this hotel a five star. Walking distance to the Forum and Coloseum, great location, safe to walk at night.

“Beautiful Location and Great Staff”

I was very impressed from the beginning when they allowed me access to my room at 10 a.m. without an extra charge. The entire experience was postive with clean rooms, beautiful location and private garden for breakfast and small meals. I have already recommended the hotel to numerous people both in US and Italy.

“Accomodating and Professional/Great Location!”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a 19th anniversary trip. The room was lovely with a nice view of Palantine Hill. It is a short walk away from many of the ancient Roman sites, including the Coloseum. The bed was comfortable and firm (as is typical in Italy), and the complimentary full breakfast was good, although a bit too predictable. Service and staff were friendly and gracious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

“Very good hotel”

The hotel is very nice. The room is big, clean and confortable. The air conditioner was really good. We were there in Aug so it was hot days. When we came back to our room, the room was very cool and we felt big relief. The breakfast is great. However, the restaurant is very expensive. We highly recomend this hotel.

“Kolbe Hotel cannot be beat”

Hotel is basically right across the street from the Coliseum. Front desk staff very friendly/helpful. Hotel is modern with an excellent bathroom, bed, size, etc. Breakfast is great and although expensive, dinner in the hotel was delicious. Can't beat this hotel.
