Nice friendly hotel. I’ve been coming here for nine years and two of the clerks recognize me! Breakfast is great and the fresh made coffee to order is a plus. You also have the option of a coffee machine.

Rooms were clean and large enough for the two of us. Not too far from the train station, walkable but a bit of a hike. The hotel was a little further from the downtown area than we expected but easy enough to get around if you don’t mind walking.

I have stayed here 8-9 times here over the past 8 years. Leandro and Alessandro recognize me every time now! The morning breakfast is great, the staff is attentive, and the hotel has the charm of bygone days. There are plenty of restaurants around the area and the Termini station is only a five minute taxi ride away.

Mistakenly booked a single room and the clerk made a huge fuss about adding extra fees for the second guest. AC was off because SOME guests said they were hot (no AC per room ?? Just saving on electricity probably). "It will be cold at night" he said, in the middle of the day when it was 28c in the room

The front desk attendants were very good. But the rest of the hotel is not recommendable. Rooms are dated. Beds are hard, as are the pillows Wifi is unreliable. Hotel is advertised as air conditoned, but guests are not allowed to control the temperature, and it was set way too warm...

The hotel needs serious repairs and improvements. The air conditioning system is too noisy and cannot be easily programmed. The furniture is really old and damaged. The WiFi needs to be restated often to have it work in the rooms. There is no laundry service even tough is advertised on the site. The food is great and the personnel professional.

Short business trip to Rome
Hotel was Perfect for our Needs, competitive prices too for a hotel in central Rome , Next visit we would book again very handy for Rome terminal station . Staff were very Nice and helpful through out the stay .

Good hotel in a lively area close to Termini
We stayed here because it was convenient for Termini station. It has the added bonus of being in a student area so there are lots of reasonably priced restaurants and late night convenience stores.

This hotel has a really nice ambience and the staff are professionals. It’s getting a bit old but still clean. The only real issue I had was with the bed—two single beds pushed together is not a queen. There always remains this rivet in the center that defeats the purpose of a large bed. Also the fridge didn’t work.

It’s a nice hotel in a not so nice area.
The reception desk was very helpful in many ways. The room was nice and the bath was fine. The remodeled bath had a very small shower. Overall, I returned to this hotel a second time because the two night stay was reasonably priced, it’s close to the train station and it’s a clean hotel in a poor neighborhood.

Lovely hotel
We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, nice and very comfortable king size bed, modern en-suite bathroom. Lovely breakfast room tastefully decorated with artifact replics and exposed brick wall giving a feel of being in an ancient roman room. Great selection of continental food and cereals and we particularly enjoyed the daily home baked cake. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in San Lorenzo area of Rome, with bus stop just 3 minutes away and the central railway station also not too far. However we never used the public transport and just walked from the hotel to the touristic attractions which we loved and gave us the opportunity to view some parts of Rome we wouldn’t have seen. I would definately recomend this hotel and will stay here again on my next trip to Rome.

Horrible dirty neighborhood, not very safe. No air conditioning, and was not fixed. The website said there were laundry services , not true! Very loud neighborhood till 0330 . Only 2 outlets in room, one working.TV remote did not work , the TV set did not work, so forget satellite TV! Safe was almost on the floor on a shelf , had to lay on floor to get at it . Absolutely no room in the bathroom to put toiletries on , and no outlets. Really, nothing within normal walking distance , we were told a Taxi would be best . I am a nurse and was in italy now for 2 weeks walking about 18,000 steps daily . I was Aldo told that maybe it would be best if I took off my jewelry( wedding ring ,gold earrings watch and gold bracelet!!!!! I have been to Italy several times and a traveler , have never been told that before . You have to be careful everywhere and prudent, but this bit of advice made us very skeptical , so we SWITCHED HOTELS the next day. Spent 5 nights WITHIN an easy walk to lots of places , area clean and no graffiti, AND LOTS OF OUTLETS, TV, Air conditioning and QUIET after 10 pm !!!!!!!!!!

Hotel is well situated in an area that is busy and has many restaurants and bars around. Strange odour when we walked in but cleared over time. Check in was efficient and they made sure we were happy with our choice.

Great staff!
We had a wonderful time at Laurentia. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, specially Alberto at the front desk, such a joy seeing a happy face with the best attitude every morning, it really makes a difference. The rooms are ample and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the girl that tends to it is lovely. The neighborhood is quite lively without being noisy, it has a nice vibe to it. We would definetly stay there again.

Large room compared to most European hotels. Great breakfast. Four selections of juice, coffee machine or the two staff members at the bar will make you a fresh cup of macchiato, expresso etc.

We loved the hotel and the atmosphere...Breakfast was great, good coffee and comfy feel. Front desk was helpful and kind. My only complaint would be the doors to the rooms. Made loud bang when people came and went. Also beds were pretty hard and I happen to like a firm mattress. Bus stop one street over and a few great restaurants nearby, also grocery market .
