Wake Up call

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Atmosphere and amenities
Cons: Staff should be more astute
Location: The shuttle to and from central Rome 14 eu each was is a great convenience.
My sister and I stayed overnight at the hotel. We placed a 5:00 am wake up call because our flight was very early the next morning. Wake up call never came...we nearly missed our flight...Other than that...very nice place complete with garden and swimming pool...wonderful restaurant..

So a place to stay. ...

Located close to the airport, they run a shuttle for a modest fee...12 euros per person The internet doesn't like mobile devices though. The breakfast was full of decent choices as far as continental goes.

Hotel served it's purpose.

Pros: Distance to Fumincino Airport in Rome, Italy.
Cons: Cleaner carpets, bathrooms and beds.
Location: Close to the Fumincino airport in Rome.
We booked this hotel near the airport for our last evening in Rome. The room "looked" clean, however, it smelled and you could feel the dirt in the carpet, bathroom and bed. It served it's purpose for the evening and was conveniently close to the airport for our flight the next morning. If I had to do it again, I would reserve a different hotel.

Not truthful about distance from airport.

Takes 10 minutes to airport - taxis not interested in going to hotel (too short a ride) too far to walk

Pros: Value for money. 5 min airport. Has good shuttles to Rome and airport
Cons: chips and bumps on halls walls etc
Location: Industrial area. Not tourist area.
Slightly tired ex Marriott in Industrial area but good local trattorias and markets. Has all facilities incl large pool but minimal landscaping.

Pros: The gym and pool.
Cons: Can't think if anything, it is a good value as is.
Location: Near the fishing boats in fiumicino. We loved the casual fish restaurants nearby.
A wonderful place to stay near the airport. Good gym and interesting location in Fiumicino.

Very nice hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2014
I picked this hotel to get to the airport the next day. The hotel was very nice but it is not that close to the airport. You got to take a car or the van to get there and they will take you 6 euros for each ride. There is nothing to see in the area around the hotel. The hotel itself has excellent service. Good food. Nice and clean.

Convenient

We wanted a good, clean hotel close to the Rome airport, with shuttle service. That is exactly what we found.

Great stay near airport

Posted Jul 3, 2014
We had a very late flight in from Corfu to Rome (arrived at 23:45). Instead of trying to get into Rome city centre, we opted to stay the night at this hotel and then go into the centre the next day. We are so pleased we did as the hotel was very close (although a 20 euro cab ride), the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend when you need to stay near the airport.

Surprisingly restful airport hotel.

Pros: The calm, the quiet, the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were pleasant and bathrooms luxurious. And, the price was great.
Cons: The exercise bicycle was out of order and the pedals broken — and my husband thought the bed was too hard. I found it quite comfortable.
Location: Ostia Antica and the Mediterranean sea are just 10 minutes away but we were too tired to enjoy these sights.
Our drive from Tuscany to the Leonardo Airport Hotel had been very stressful, so it was a great relief to arrive at the hotel and find a calm and helpful desk person. We had three rooms and she cheerfully helped us get into them as early as possible. The rooms were clean and — QUIET. We arrived for lunch five minutes before the restaurant was to close and again, everyone was so accommodating and kind. The food wasn't fancy — but it was good and just what we wanted. Arranging taxis and shuttles was easy; the 6:00 a.m. coffee was good; and checking out was smooth.
