ConvenientPosted Dec 4, 2013
Our stay was enjoyable and the lux apartment was convenient with washing and kitchen facilities. It was nice to have a bit of space after staying in single rooms for an extended period. Lux was close to transport and one quality restraunt was right next door. Francesca was very helpful with local info and printed our tickets immediately. Thank you!

Nice large apartment with all amenitiesPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Washing Machine, Cooking facilities and its like being at home.
Cons: I found the people who worked there a bit harsh.
Location: Its a little hard to get to. Kind of central but not. There are some buses that go outside the apartments.
Nice apartment to stay at with friends. They are sprawling apartments good for a family or friends.

Roma vacationPosted Oct 1, 2013
Cons: ??????? Could be closer to the center, but then the rates would triple!
Location: Piaza di Porta Magiori is a block away, lovely! The colosseo is not too far.
A beautiful apartment in a very nice section of Rome with the most charming restaurant next door. My evening meals at La Pantanella were memorable!. Francesca at Lux apartamenti Was friendly, helpful in every regard and looked out for a crazy American. Highly recommended.

Rome apartmentPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: The helpful staff, the residential location, the size and amenities of the accommodations.
Cons: Additional English language satellite TV stations. We were basically limited to the BBC.
Location: This is a residential area so there are a few restaurants, a corner market, bus/metro connections and a bingo parlor- which we did not go into.
My husband and I stayed here for five nights in late September 2013. We loved the spaciousness of a separate living room plus kitchen after nine previous nights in small Italian hotel rooms. The apartment includes a washer, stove, AC and a full sized refrigerator. A grocery store and corner market are close by. The nearby bus stop for the 571 line took us to the Colloseum, Campidoglio and Piazza Navona. The metro line A (tourist line) stop is about a 10-15 minute walk, this line travels to the Vatican, train station and Spanish Steps. We were able to lower our meal costs considerably by preparing our meals.

Nice comfy aptmt, Convenient to bus, tram, metro.Posted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: See above.
Location: Very handy location - near buses, tam and a 10 minute walk to the metro. Some restaurants nearby also.
Nice, comfortable and clean. All modern conveniences. It was very good that Francesca can speak reasonably good English and that she took the time to show us how to operate the dishwasher, washing machine, TV, etc. There are also operational manuals in the apartment. English TV news good.

Great apartments just outside city centrePosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, layout, comfort of furnishings, location, management.
Cons: Cannot think of anything,
These apartments are well located near public transport (tram bus and metro, metro is about 10 minutes walk away). It is a very comfortable place to stay, well furnished, and well equipped.our flat had 2 sofas , a dining table for 4, a generous sized double bed and a spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The open plan kitchen had everything you would need including a dishwasher and an oven. The lady who runs it is kind and helpful, she gives advice about transport, things to do and see and places to eat. Also there are no hidden extras like cleaning fees etc, she does take your credit card details in case of breakages or damage but I think that is fair. Overall an excellent experience.

Aug in RomePosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Washing machine & aircon are the best features of the Lux.
Cons: WiFi in the room is unavailable.
Location: The Lux is about 2.5 km from the coloseo. It is very close to the bus 105, however the staff only told us about the 571 which we failed to locate.
The best thing about Lux is the washing machine. After travelling for more than a week in the summer heat, it was great to be able to wash clothes. Aircon was fine, so was the full kitchen. The bathroom was a bit too small, and the toilet flush was broken, though got fixed immediately upon our request. One major disappointment was the free WiFi, no signal in the room. Had to use it in the corridor which wasn't air conditioned. The staff was ok, could be more helpful. Had to pay on checkin, with 3% credit card surcharge !

Wonderful and greatPosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: The parking was secure garage. As we did not drive the car in Rome we did not even worry a bit about the car
Location: Close to everything. Bus routes and Metro were easy to negotiate.
This was our second stay at the Lux in two years. We will stay there again next time as the staff and the accomadations were wonderful. Francessca was absolutely wonderful, they were so thoughtful. The personal touches she adorned our room with since it was our 25 aniverssary was unexpected and awesome. She was very informative and professional when she had to be and very personable when just talking with us. Thank you Francessca and Lux for adding more great memories to our Italian vacation. We left early in the morning so to Francessca we say arrivederci.

Lux ApartmentiPosted Aug 10, 2013
Cons: Distance from city center
The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has certain conveniences such as washer/dryer, which are helpful for families on extended trips. The staff was good and helpful. The location is not the greatest as we had a fairly long walk (1.5 km) to get to the Termini Station tours or to the Colosseum. The area, while not uncomfortable is a bit unpleasant. There is a great restaurant conveniently located next door where we had dinner every night of our stay!.
