Great locationPosted Dec 3, 2012
Pros: Nice clean quality hotel
Location: good location
Very nice accomodations: clean, quality materials, thick doors - didn't hear any nearby doors closing or slamming, did not hear others talking in the halls - good workmanship in details of construction - nice marble floors and tile baths. Lots of clean towells, bathrobe, slippers. The only thing missed was information on how to access local attractions - no brochures in lobby.

Lovely hotel, perfect for end of tripPosted Jun 9, 2011
We stayed at the Marriott Grand Flora at the end of a 9-day trip in Italy. We found the Grand Flora to be extremely comfortable and the staff to be very helpful. The neighborhood was very pleasant and you could tell all the hotels and restaurants took care to keep it clean. Several good restaurants within a few blocks and some good shopping. We walked everywhere in Rome and found it relatively easy to do from this location (but we also didn't mind walking 5-7 miles in a day). Lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great roomPosted Apr 11, 2011 on Hotels.com
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was great, we had a marble balcony overlooking Via Veneto. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially the concierge. He was able to book the colosseum underground tour for us which just opened 2 days prior, of which he had no knowledge of. When I told him about it he called the colosseum and arranged a private tour for us, which cost only 21 Euro each. The breakfast buffet on the rooftop was great, good selection of cold and hot foods, fresh fruits, 3 juices, coffee & tea, and also overlooked the city. The television selection could have been better, but we are in their country afterall. There are so many good little restaurants on the sidestreets next to the hotel, and famous Harry's is directly across the street. There is a grocery market acrosss the street in the underground tunnel right next to Harry's where we got our bottled water, diet pepsi, and snacks. It also has a fresh deli section in it. We stayed there 10 years ago when it was not a Marriott, and it was good, but it is so much better now.
