Fairly nicePosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The swimming pool and the shuttle bus
Cons: Staff training, an excellent customer service care from a female and a male staff, 1 who should not be there, others who need training
Location: Very far from decent public transport system, not much to do near by
The hotel is fairly ok but not well secured. No avenue for complains and some of the staff members are very rude. My 14 year old son's iphone5 charger disappeared from our hotel room on a Wednesday afternoon, nobody took it serious. We left a lady there who claimed to have come to deliver beverages while going out around 13.00, came back around 17.00 and his charger was gone. When I asked to see the manager, a staff told me to contact the police as there is nothing the hotel can do about it.

Great hotel, good rooms & facilitiesPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Staff could not have been more helpful.
Cons: Food in restaurant was good, but took a very long time to arrive - not ideal with young children. Internet was painfully slow.
Location: You need a car for most things, you don't stay here for the area though the location is good for getting to other places.
Great hotel base to explore Rome and surroundings.

Not What Advertised!Posted Jul 21, 2014
Cons: Their shuttle service and their WIFI!
We only booked this hotel because it was advertised that it had a FREE airport (FCO) shuttle and FREE WIFI—but neither was true! We had 10 hours to get some sleep between our flight from Athens to PHL via FCO. We arrived at midnight into FCO, called the hotel for their FREE airport pickup, to be told that the shuttle doesn't run that late and that we would need to take a taxi. That taxi ride cost us 48 EUROS! When we arrived at the hotel we were then told that the shuttle the next morning didn't run until 11AM, which was too late for our next flight. They informed us to avoid the 48 Euro fee agian that it would take us 1.5 hours via a bus, the metro, and then a train to get back to FCO. In regards to the WIFI, we were never able to connect and when I called down to the front desk they informed me that they did have problems with their WIFI.

Decent HotelPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Facilities were good.
Cons: Door locks don't work well. Shuttle facilities should be available earlier than 11 AM.
Location: Location was far off from the city center and there was nothing much to do nearby.
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Some facilities were a little bit dated. The website indicates the hotel is close to the airport, but it still took us 20 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel. Also, there is information on the website that free airport shuttle is available, but the availability timeline is only after 11:00 AM, so the information is somewhat misleading. The hotel is in the suburbs so there is not much to do around here if you want to spend the day touring Rome while staying here. It took us 1 hour by public transportation to get to the city center from here.

Free shuttles (very limited service) aroom for 4 pPosted Jul 1, 2014
Cons: Present a sincere and complete information about the shuttle service limitation and about the capacity if existing to accommodate 4 people in one room
Location: Far away from FCO so if you don't have your own car than don't count on theirs shuttles service unless you confirm about it in advance with the hotel
Hotel is far away from FCO. A taxi from FCO may cost more than Euros and shuttles service is very limited 3-4 times a day and never after 5:30PM. The room they sold us (for 4 people) didn't have beds for 4 people (only 1 bed and sofa / cama). In general; not a sincere presentation about the hotel services and capacities!

Mercure Roma WestPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Free shuttle bus. Free swimming, steam and sona bath.
Location: This hotel is quite a far from main city center so nothing to do around here unless you want some quality time in hotel with gym, swimming and Spa.
Nice hotel. We had a great time in this hotel. Even though this is far from main Rome attractions, they provide free shuttle bus service few times a day. Also there is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes you to EUR Fermi metro station and they you can be in Rome in 15 minutes. Good and helpful staff. Free shuttle bus from airport to hotel and back(only 3 times a day so not for everyone).

Stay was goodPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Receptionist were friendly and helpful, restaurant in,swim pool, gym etc
Cons: Shuttle hours between airport and town, reception desk could be more visible place.
Location: Bank (ATM), shops, restaurant etc
Down side commuting between hotel to airport (restricted shuttle hours) spend an other €90 on top for taxi, and from the hotel to metro station (Eur fermi) by shuttle 20 min if no traffic then from there to Central Rome 20 min travel. Shuttle was a 7 seater, by the hotel. Surrounding hotel there are shops, bank (ATM) etc

Second time aroundPosted Jun 23, 2014
This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and there will be a third! Very good value for money and we like the residential area rather than the noise and too many people in town.

Nice hotel, had a good experiencePosted Jun 18, 2014
Hotel was very nice, staff were also very nice. Shuttle buses were very useful and facilities were mostly good. Loved the swimming pool/sauna, wasn't that busy when I was there, nice and relaxing. Rooms were nice and air conditioned. Negatives were: Gym really small (not really worthy of being called a gym) Free wifi was pretty slow, can't stream videos but fine for checking emails/messages etc. Other wifi costs 9euros The shuttle buses take you to the metro, which takes about 10mins and from the metro to the main city only takes another 20mins so it's quite convenient. Even if you miss the shuttle there is the 705 bus which takes you to the metro (takes about 20mins) Overall it's a nice hotel and being away from the main city wasn't too much of a problem.
