Schönes Hotel in super zentraler Lage.

Posted Feb 8, 2015

nice modern hotel in quiet area

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Modern feel
Cons: the sofa bed provided had stains on them. it should be cleaned or covered up
Location: For Pizza, can try San Marco For pasta, Mama Ristorante
Great Service staff who bothered to write us a congratulatory note for our Honeymoon. we were also given room upgrade, strawberries and fudge upon arrival Upgraded room was huge with a separate living area, balcony and bathroom. Bed was big and comfy Hotel is 15mins walk to St Peters square, 12mins walk to Metro, with couple of nice eateries around the area. Prati area is slightly off the main tourist attractions such as Colosseum and Trevi fountain, but area is less touristy

Very nice hotel just outside of the city centre

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: Staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was superb. Coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Overall a great hotel.
Cons: The bath/shower was very slippery, bath mats should be provided or available upon request. There was no full length mirror & no mirror in the bedroom.
Location: Within a 5 minute walk there are some great local Italian restaurants, not too expensive. There are also many (quite expensive) clothes shops nearby.
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a short break to Rome and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is in a good location, very close to Vatican City (15 min walk) and about 30-45 minutes walk into the centre of town, depending on where exactly you're going. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities were excellent. The rooms and bathrooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable. However a few minor issues included slightly dim lighting in the room and the only mirror was above the sink in the bathroom so it would have been nice to have an extra, full length mirror in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the coffee machine in the room was a great addition. The location, whilst not completely central, was good as there were many shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. However for seeing the main sites like the Colosseum and Pantheon you would have to take a bus or taxi or be willing to walk for 35-40 minutes. The walk into town from the hotel is extremely scenic, going past Castel Sant'Angelo on the way (which is 5 minutes from the hotel).

Molto bene
