Top Hotel. Highly recommended.Posted Jul 4, 2014
We made a last minute decision to head to Rome, and grabbed at the best late deals we could find. The hotel was just above (70 yards) the via Vennetto, which is full of nice places to eat and drink. It's also only 15 mins walk to the Spanish Steps and close to two metro stops, Spagna and Bamberini. The hotel is modern, spotless and friendly. Because of it's location, It seems to cater mainly for business types, so it's not for you if you want a traditional more Roman experience, but we really enjoyed it and think its one of the best we've stayed in. The staff also made a fuss of me on my birthday, which was a nice surprise. They were also able to answer all of the questions we had about getting around in Rome. The hotel helped contribute to an excellent trip.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 14, 2014
Very nice hotel walking distance from trevi fountain and via venneto. Although the staff are very freindly and warm it'd be nice if they could understand english. Only reception guys could speak english the rest was all guess work.

Clean, modern hotel near to centre.Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Mainly it's position, but the rooms are functional and comfortable, The breakfast buffet is very good
Cons: Some of the staff were perfunctory in their attitude rather than helpful. The bar could be made more welcoming.
Location: Brilliant location at the top of the Via Veneto but next to the relatively quiet and peaceful (for Rome) Borghese Gardens.
This hotel is like many modern chain hotels: clean, modern, no frills, but close to the centre of Rome, within walking or Metro distance of most of the city's great treasures and attractions. It caters for business travellers as well as tourists and hosts business conventions etc, but that gives it a buzz sometimes lacking in more tourist centred hotels.

Spacious roomPosted Apr 8, 2014
We had a room with a terrace and view over the garden. The terrace was nice to sit out on in the evening with a bottle of wine though there was quite a bit of traffic noise inside with the windows closed it was a lot quieter. Comfortable large bed, and a nice big deep bath. The breakfasts were good too.

Good value and good locationPosted Jan 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Had a short business trip in Rome and decided to select this hotel for its location near the centre of Rome. Room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet (included in the price of the room) was tasty and plentiful. I would stay in this hotel again !

When in Rome.Posted Dec 6, 2013
Warm and helpfull welcome with plenty of information about access to the best sites to visit. Room requested was at the back of the hotel over looking the Villa Borghese. Some traffic in the morning resolved by closing the window. Easy walks to sites to the north of the centre of Rome and good transport links to others. Choice of nearby restaurants and pizzarias. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.

Nice hotel - a little on the outside of the cityPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, buffet. Location was fine for us. Cost was reasonable.
Cons: Engagement of staff.
Location: Several long blocks from closest subway on top of a hill. Right across the street from old city walls on one side and Bourgese Park on the other.
Hotel is clean and well-kept. Breakfast buffet was nice - more than continental breakfast - nice variety. Room was clean. As is typical of hotels in Italy - lacks storage space for two people on a longer stay. Bathroom was beautiful and clean. Hotel staff were mostly pleasant but not very engaging. Bellman was annoyed we didn't want him to take our bags. We called for a taxi and indicated we needed to leave immediately. They insisted on calling their own taxi. We eventually had to flag down our own taxi since their driver was taking too long. Once again they showed their annoyance with us. For guests who have difficulty walking, the hotel is literally on the outside of the old city walls. It overlooks Bourgese park which is a beautiful place to walk and takes less than a minute to get to. The closest subway is several long blocks away and the hotel itself is a good walk from any attractions and most restaurants. The hotel is also at the highest point around. Returning at the end of a long day or evening, we were always making our way up hill. Nonetheless, it's great exercise to help you keep off the pounds from eating all that pasta.
