Good central location, nice ambient roomsPosted Feb 25, 2014
Stayed in the Vicollo dell Orso annexe. Had to wait for several minutes for someone to let us in despite having phoned to let them know we were on our way. Rooms were very characterful, sheets clean although throw was very dusty around bases. VERY noisy in hall outside room in the morning when they were preparing breakfast, woke us up at 7.30 with clattering dishes and noise from coffee machine.

You must love antiques too love this B&B. We wanted the old world feeling. We had the smallest room and it was tiny, though the bathroom was big and modern with a tub., Some rooms are big and beautiful, check out their website and be aware of which property you're at and room if possible.. The location is wonderful, we stayed at the Via Dell'Orso 55. Breakfast was good and the office at Via Giusseppe Zanardelli 23 which has a rooftop terrace, was close. We paid less than $100, midweek low season, so the small room was worth it.

Great central location in central Rome.Posted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: location convenient. very nice staff.
Cons: small room & bathroom. Shower very small (but seems typical for other hotels). Construction in the building, which was a little noisy in morning.
Location: A couple blocks to Piazza Navona. Easy walk to all the sights and great restaurants.
Central location to walk everywhere - Vatican, coliseum, pantheon, etc. Easy to find bars/restaurants just out the door. Stayed at building on via Governor Vecchio. Main hotel reception in different location than where we stayed, but when we arrived and called, they came over in 5 minutes. Rooms on 3.5 level - use lift when you have luggage.

Great Location, Average breakfastPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very conveniently located close to all the major attractions. The breakfast could have been better and room was a bit dusty in places.

Living an authentic " La dolce vita" experience, was what we were looking for and exactly what we got. Loved it ! This b&b had it all at an affordable price.

Great LocationPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Location, room size and decor, breakfast.
Cons: Wi-fi could be improved.
Location: Very close to Piazza Navona, but within 2 miles of everything we wanted to see, so we walked everywhere.
My wife and I stayed in one of the 2nd floor apartments at via Coranari 14. This is not a typical hotel in the sense that there is no lobby, or front desk. It is more like a studio apartment with a continental breakfast delivered to your room each morning. We arrived at the address and rang the buzzer. We were given a key for the front door and an code for the elevator. This was a very nice room in a great location. It is about midway between the Vatican and the Coliseum. Both within walking distance (> 2 miles). Via Coronari is a quaint, quiet, mostly car-free street a few steps from Piazza Navona. The room was large, well decorated, with a good air conditioner. A/C was important as the temperatures were in the mid 90's F. The staff were excellent, and breakfast was brought to the room each morning. The only drawback to our room was that the free wi-fi was only accessible from the common hallway, not in our room. This made it inconvenient to plan out the next day's activity.

Great location, finicky servicesPosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was nice, clean, and in perfect location. Only drawbacks would be finicky internet service and no English TV station. Also, staff was very friendly, though spoke limited English.

authentic hotel in old townPosted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: atmosphere and location
Location: piazza navona and castel dangelo is very close. also check out pride bar on the river.
we had a pleasant stay here for four nights. the building is so authentic that it makes you feel like a real roman resident. the staff is pleasant and helpful, but not very professional. location is awesome, pricing is fair. i would recommend.
