Unmatched, excellent locationPosted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Location is excellent, we only used the bus a couple of times while in Rome. Everything is within 2 to 30 minutes walking.
Cons: The breakfast is strangely provided in a sister hotel, about 4 minutes walking distance away. Also no towel hooks in the bathroom.
The hotel is located right in the center, in a side street so you get quiet nights with plenty of bars, pubs, restaurants and major sightseeing spots right around the corner. We liked the roman design of the room, and the comfortable double bed. You do need to walk about 4 minutes every morning to get to the breakfast spot in a sister hotel. It's on their 5th floor with a nice view so that's forgivable. They're also willing (although we didn't ask them) to get it to your room if you want. Another minor issue is the lack of towel hooks in the bathroom; we had to hang them on the decorated wall lamp.

Nice hotel close to sights and nightlfePosted Dec 3, 2014
Very comfortable and characterfull hotel in good lactation amongst restaurants and bars. Just 5 minutes away from sister hotel where breakfast is served on the rooftop with great views, but watch out for the seagulls that might have an eye on your meal. Very nice friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, unique decoration and cool liftPosted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Unique, Quirky Deco, lovely maid/helper/receptionist. Main location of everything. Walking distance to the bus stops. Quiet. Great place to return to
Cons: Better WIFI connection. All other rooms had lovely sofa but we didn't. Better storage would have been good. Better instructions from staff
Location: great boutique shops close by, fantastic restaurants, walkable distance to de fury, navona, bus stops (and i hate walking)
Found the hotel with little difficulty. Ended up having a room that was in another building. Had to locate a member of staff with a bit of difficulty because no one was manning the 3rd floor reception (thankfully there was a lift- we had three heavy luggage with us). Someone came as we let ourselves in to the reception room. I did specifically request for a kettle and was given that. However one day after the kettle broke. I notified the staff and they said because it was a Sunday the shops wouldn't be opened (they were opened). So we had to use water and manually for the next hour to filter the excess coffee remains in the coffee machine (the staff suggested to use the coffee machine to boil water). The staff/helper/maid was lovely, kind and patient. There was a fridge in the room which made it great. However WIFI was awful, we could not get ANY wifi. So be warned do not get the room that in at the back- as the only time you can get wifi is if you walked outside your room and into the hallway. Wasn't easy to locate "Main" reception area as the name of the hotel had a different name to the hotel we were staying at! But the reception lady was kind, and spoke good English.

Very close to piazza NavonaPosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Comfortable accomodations, very friendly staff and the not to be missed complimentary breakfast.
Cons: A tissue box would be helpful. Please leave enough coffee cups when the coffee supply is replenished. We had coffee but nothing to drink it with
10 minute taxi ride from Rome Termini station (10 euros). Plan on doing a lot of walking in Rome which is rreally the recommended way to experience the city. The free walking tours in all of Italy are great to get you acquainted with your surroundings. You tip your guide at your discretion and they can offer you a lot of tips. The fare from Fumicino airport to the city (Roma Termini) is 14 euros per passenger and then you have to take a taxi to your hotel. It cost us 52 euros the day we arrived for 3 of us to get from the airport to the hotel. I found out the day we were coming back that the city has set a flat rate of 48 euros to get you from anywhere in the city to the airport and that's what we did. This of course depends on how many people there are in your party. The receptionist at the hotel scheduled our cab which arrived promptly and she is the one that told us abot the fixed fare. Our room overlooked a very busy side street full of shops, cafes and restaurants which was not really very conducive to you you being able to get any sleep, even with the windows closed. Everything is within walking distance which you should plan on doing a lot of. We walked 11 miles a day, on average. We were lucky in that we had no wait time at the vatican but had to wait 35 minutes to buy the ticket at the Colosseum. You should definitely pre-buy your skip-the-line tickets on line if you'll be visiting during peak times.
