“Would go back”
Overall, a good experience. We couldn't believe it was really a hotel when we pulled up in a cab and there was no sign. But the address was right and when we checked the multiple call buttons there was one for the Pantheon Inn. Once we gained entrance to the courtyard we still weren't sure where to go and a couple of fellows sitting there having a sandwich couldn't help us. Finally, we figured out that the place was on the second floor and climbed up with our bags only to learn later that there was a lift. Once we found the desk we were well cared for with a friendly staff and a very adequate room including a balcony over the courtyard. There was an acceptable continental breakfast in the morning which we enjoyed on our balcony. The location was perfect only 2 blocks from the Pantheon and near to everything we wanted to see. We would go back. My only recommendation is that the location and entrance routine be better explained.
“Worked for us.”
A few recommendations for Pantheon: (1) Put a sign for elevator... it's easy to miss -- we did, as well as other guests we saw enter after us (2) if you advertise you have A/C, then *put it on*; it should not be conditional. Otherwise, dont advertise it, or state its conditional on (a) timer, and potentially (b) time of year. (3) oh, get a sign for Pantheon Inn on big doors, or wall next to doors. Lack of A/C in room initially was tough, esp. for us when we were 4 people stuffed into the space of a double room, and the window was very small & no cross ventilation. Otherwise, all employees polite, do best to serve you, and friendly. Surprisingly quiet given its proximity to Pantheon & high-end hotel next door that has a fair amt of traffic in front of it.
“Great location, nice hotel, mediocre service”
The hotel had nice facilities. It was a great location for visiting many of the main sites in Rome. However, the man working the desk at night was quite rude. He told us that he needed us to switch rooms for the last night of our stay, probably because they had double-booked the room. When we told him we'd prefer not to, he became even more unfriendly and said he would let us know early in the morning if we needed to. We wound up convincing him that we didn't want to switch, but he was rude to us for the rest of our stay. Other than the night man working the front desk, the hotel was clean, breakfast satisfying and the rooms quite simple, but nice.
“PANTHEON INN, ROMA, ITALIA”
Overall the stay here was fair. The continental breakfast was so so but it did the trick until later. It was near both Campo di Fiori which has a wonderful farmer's market and you have to visit the fruit stand run by Manuela and vegetable stand run by Massimo and Piazza Navonna. Very close to the various different bus lines and easy walking to quite a few sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially the desk clerks. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
“No frills with a great location”
Staying at this hotel which occupies 2 floors of an apartment building really gave us a feel for Rome and how people live there. The room was small but clean with an updated bathroom, and the location was perfect. Close to the monuments, to the supermarket, to good kosher restaurants...everything was within 10-15 mins. walking distance. We had a great stay in Rome partly because the location was so good. With two children 8 and 12 yrs old, we would take a taxi to the monuments which were further away in the morning such as the Vatican, and then leisurely walk our way back in the afternoon, passing other historical sights on the way. The service was good, they were very polite, efficient and courteous. The breakfast which was included gave us an early start to exploring the city. Great value for the price. My only complain was that the bed was not so comfortable.
“Great Location!”
Rooms were very comfortable and the location of the hotel was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. I will definetely recommend this hotel.
“Small, but good.”
The room was small, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was good.
“Roaming Rome”
This hotel is ALL about location. Located next door to the Pantheon, the location could not be better! However, if you want a spacious room and a breakfast before 7 am, you might want to choose a different hotel. The hotel and rooms are very small, but clean.
“Run! this hotel doesn't look anything like the pics expedia shows”
I think Expedia should check their hotels more closely! I felt this was very deceiving to the consumer!!!!
“Location! Location! Location!”
PERFECTLY situated in the heart of Rome with easy easy access to many major "Must See"s in Rome. Easy Walking distance to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navonna and Coliseum to mention a few. My two teenagers and I stayed in a room for three prior to going on cruise. We had a LOT of luggage which we did not store but simply kept in room so not sure how much room for clothing....but room served our purposes perfectly! Bathroom long and skinny but very modern and clean. But it was the location and price that will make me return! Could not have asked for a better deal in a more perfectly situated spot!

Navona - Pantheon, Rome, Italy: In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Romes most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Berninis baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon one of Romes great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
