Great experience, super helpful staff!! When we arrived a bit before our check in time they allowed us to check in early. Helped answer our questions about where to sightsee. Great location and views overlooking the Spanish steps!

Pros: Modern, clean, nice view. Next to metro Spagne metro stop.
Location: Vatican very near by metro.
Our room was a nIce modern room for 2 persons. Entrance on 4th floor directly from the Piazza de Spagne. Has nice view of the Piazza steps. Staff very affable. We would stay there again.

Amazing location and view - 100% recommended!

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: The view!!! The room was really pretty, the staff were great, it was clean. Big windows to look out across the Spanish Steps, making it nice and airy.
Cons: The only thing that was slightly daunting was the lift (which was old fashioned) but it worked perfectly and in the end we thought it was pretty cool.
Location: Location was excellent - right on the Spanish Steps, all shopping nearby. Walked to the Trevi and Pantheon within 15 mins - even Vatican was close.
The best thing about this hotel was the view... It was absolutely incredible!!! Breathtaking. Although the Spanish Steps are busy and loud, when we had the windows closed you couldn't hear that much. The room wasn't modern but everything was pretty and quaint and bathroom was updated. You don't really want ultra modern in Rome - it needs character. Cleanliness was very good too. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to keep our bags there until 5pm on the day of check out. I would 100% recommend these rooms - considering that the Intercontinental is just 2 mins away and is triple the price per night, there is no point - ours had a better view from the room and if we wanted to see the whole city we just went to the intercontinental for drinks and sat on the rooftop terrace.

A perfect low-cost, no-frills hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in April 2015. Staff were very accommodating of our late check-in. The rooms were clean on arrival and cleaned daily. The view was great. Although the Spanish Steps were a stone's throw away, the new windows entirely blocked out the sounds at night. There is a small but convenient lift to take your baggage up and down. This is not a glamourous, '5 star' hotel. It is a very low-cost, clean and well-maintained hotel in terrific location - we were no more than a 20 to 30 minute walk from every attraction we went to. For one or two people travelling in Rome who only need a room to sleep in and store their belongings, I would highly recommend booking at Piazza di Spagna View.

Great place to stay

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Great location
Cons: Signage outside
Location: Right next to the Spagna metro stop, making for easy access to the rest of the city.
We loved our room here - great view of the Spanish Steps and an excellent location for exploring the city. The only snag was finding the hotel on arrival since there aren't any obvious signs. Go into the building that's not adjacent to the tea shop and take the elevator up to the 4th floor!

super ubicación, es como estar en un departamento

Posted Mar 18, 2015 on Hotels
