Very easy to locate off main avenue...Service was excellent...Close to bus stop and Metro station...great location for driving to centro and Vatican. Room was comfortable with massage shower and jet whirlpool tub. Staff very helpfull.

“Runners and Walkers Delight!”

First time to Rome. I am a runner and was thrilled to have the park across the street to run in for miles! The park has many acres of mowed paths through a wild wheat field. In the park and from the terrace are views of the Vatican City. The terrace was wonderful to eat a picnic supper and sip on wine. The breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

“Lovely Hotel”

Really enjoyed our stay, we had a family room where there was plenty of space, staff where friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean at all times as was the room. There was also a good range of food for breakfast.

“pinewood hotel- excellent hotel and value”

excellent experience at the Pinewood Hotel Rome. we stayed in a quad room, a queen bed and two singles in a two room suite. beautiful marble bath. wonderful staff help. Hotel is west of central rome. Only negative, and it is a minor one, is that the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station. A bus stop is near the hotel which runs every 30 minutes. There is also a grocery store 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

“Best Value We've Found in Europe So Far!”

Our stay at the Pinewood during Easter week this year (2009) was 1st rate. Usually breakfast in Europe is minimal; but while not bacon and eggs, the coffee service included a great tasting American Coffee as well as Espresso, Hot Chocolate and several other choices, (usually in Europe you get a couple of teaspoons full, not a full size cup with refills.) The food offering was similar to US motels without the hot plates; we found it all very tasty and quite filling. The staff are friendly, offer first-rate service and knowledgeable about the area, and public transportation. A little off the beaten path if you're looking for a party; but for a family with kids - Awesome! The Pinewood is two bus stops or an 8 minute walk to the nearest Metro Stop. Local restaurants are within walking distance with lots to choose from and gourmet taste with good prices. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed.

The crew and staff of this hotel are extremely good! They were helpful and accomodating to changes made necessary by altered travel plans. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and in fact am making plans to do that this time next hear. The manager and staff at the front desk assisted us in our vacation by suggesting side trips and other interesting things to see and do. Totally a pleasant experience.

“EXCELLENT HOTEL ON SUBWAY LINE”

This hotel was a steal for the price, excellent location for the traveller who is driving or doesn't mind taking a subway which is a five minute walk and then a 10 minute ride to city centre. Staff was excellent and helpful, great clean large rooms!!!

“Wonderful wonderful Rome, thrown the coin in the fountain to make sure of a return....”

The package was extremely good. We were happy with the hotel. Only one minor complaint, the pillow was rather lumpy. But after a day walking around Rome for 12 hours, a few minutes discomfort before passing out is nothing. We had a wonderful time. We have thrown our coins into the fountain to secure a return trip. It is most certainly a city that begs you to return. Really wonderful experience.
