Pinewood Hotel Rome

Clean comfortable hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. They gave us clear directions on how to get around and they sell train and buss tickets at the front desk. You can't beat the price. It is a few minutes outside of central Rome, but a short taxi, metro or bus ride. We took the metro train and bus for only �1.50. A hotel of this quality inside of the central area would be 3 times the cost. We had a miscommunication with one of the front desk agents, but overall we were very satisfied.

Location wasnt very great, too far away from places to see and Vatican City. But you close by a bus stop and 5 minutes walk to nearest metro station.

The hotel is very clean and nice. It is not very close to tourist attractions, but it is a good place to stay for business or other non-tourist purposes. It's perfect if you travel with a car. There's a convenient garage next to the hotel. The room we stayed in was small, but comfortable. There was a jet tub and a jet shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was tasty, with a wide selection of food and beverages.

The receptionist is an angel, very sweet and she supplied us with a map for the historic places, buses and metro lines to go and come back, really helpful and kind. I will definitely stay there again. Reasonable price. I love it!!!!

Fpr a 4 star rating, I was expecting more. The room that we were in on the first night was noisy due to the lift. You vould hear it the whole night so we hardly slept. We requested to be transferred and from the reaction we received, this must have been a problem previously. Fortunately, we got transferred so was ok for the next 2 nights. Was far from city, so, if you decide to go and have dinner in the city, you need to catch the trains but the walk back at night after a long day is a bit inconvenient.

Is really far away from the highlight points, rooms are extremely small, they have good breakfast and personnel attention is also good. If you have a car in Rome is a good option, if not I won't use it again.
