“Comfy room clean room, kinda far from centro, but good overall”

Nice, clean, comfortable room. Free breakfast in the morning was a plus. Staff was ok. Always had a problem with the free wifi in the room. I asked for the air to be turned up but staff said it was controlled and couldn't do anything about it. I asked if they had an iron, they said no. My plug converter broke and asked if they had a spare they said no. So if you don't mind the little no's then it's an ok hotel to stay at while in Rome. Just remember that the hotel is located in Ciampino so plan accordingly if you're spending most of your time at the center of Rome.

“Could be more understanding”

Clean hotel with a good price however it was hard to find and the neighborhood was not the greatest. Our flight was delayed so we missed our connection from the US to Rome. Our room had already been paid for but since we did not arrive on our scheduled date we had to rebook and repay. I feel the hotel should not have charged us again. We were on an international flight and had no way of canceling by the midnight cutoff time. Under these circumstances the hotel should have not made us repay again.

“Good choice”

Traffic is difficult in Rome, but this hotel was easy to find with its large sign by the side of the road. The hotel provides easy & safe parking (for those with a rental car). The inside of the hotel was modern & very clean. Rooms were standard european size (smaller than US-size hotel rooms), but contained everything needed & very clean. Our room overlooked a vineyard & wheat field - beautiful & quiet. Beds were a bit hard, but we still slept well. From this location we visited Castel Gandolfo - had a great visit & wonderful supper at a restaurant overlooking the lake. Highly recommend this location to any visitor. We could easily return to this hotel in future.

“Bad location”

Hotel was nice and clean. Good size. Neighborhood was not the greatest. The location of this hotel is terrible. Hotelis far from Rome. You have a long walk to the bus that takes you to the subway that takes you into Rome.

“Always stay out of Rome”

This hotel is located outside Rome wich is the best choice when you travel to italy. It was only 12 minutes from coleseuim. Friendly people, good breakfast, not crowed, clean, new rooms, easy parking, good room service and english speaking at front desk. We recomend this Hotel

“Jo Jo”

The hotel was very nice and the grounds were pretty. The staff was accomadating. Breakfast there was the best out of all the 5 hotels we stayed at on our trip. Dinner was good also but expensive. The hotel was clean and the room spacious. It was a great start to our vacation and we were sorry to leave. Only problem it that it was not located close to Rome.

Getting around

We had to walk 250 meters to the nearest bus stop and take the local bus to one of the stations. From there you can either take another bus, depending on where you want to go, or a train. You had to do the same thing coming back and walking at night was scary because often times it would be dark. We got caught in the rain once walking to the hotel.

“Clean and modern hotel”

This is a very nice hotel for the money you pay, but it is very far from the attraction points. If you want to stay for 3-5 days it may be worth it. You can take the bus (300 meters from the hotel) to Anagnina station (15 minutes ride), and then take the metro (30 minutes), plan 1 and 1/2 hours to get to the city center. You can buy a pass from the metro station for 3 days (11 euros) and it works for both the bus and the metro, everytime you take the metro if you do not wish to buy the 3 day pass you can use the metro pass for the bus if you use it within 75 minutes after it's stamped. The hotel is nice, they only have showers though. The area is nice too but you need to walk from the bus stop for 5-8 minutes. The minibar is not free! so pay attention and ask about charges before you use it if you have limited budget. The rooms are nice and clean and the nature surrounding the hotel is very nice. Staff are very nice and speak very good english. Breakfast is included and it's DELICIOUS, everything is fresh and tasty. I would recommended if you don't mind taking the bus/metro and if you have enough time, don't come back when it's dark though cause you have to walk a little bit. Internet is included but it's a little slow, but not bad.

Area recommendations

Everything is expensive in rome, so if you plan early you may be able to find something closer to the city center

“A good choice”

I chose this hotel for my daughters because they were flying a discount airline out of Ciampino. They said that the hotel was nicer than they had expected. It was very modern and the room was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful with a full variety of items. The main drawback is the inconvenience of the location. It was difficult to get there from Rome Termini. Also the shuttle that is advertised does not pick anyone up at the airport. It only takes you to the airport and on a very abbreviated schedule. An early departure time for one of my daughter's meant she did not get breakfast or the shuttle. The website did not mention the shuttle schedule. overall, however this was a good choice adn good value.

“Great Hotel”

This was the third hotel we stayed in while we were in Italy and by far the nicest and cheapest. They have a nice garden large/clean rooms. The location is great a few miles south of Rome's Ciampino Air Port and just north of Albano Lake. It's not a good location if your planning to go to the city of Rome but if you have a few extra days at the end of your trip to get some relaxation you can't beat it.

Traveler's tip

If you have a car eat at the lake not the hotel. Two parts of our order were missed all together, my Medium/Well steak was red and bloody and and we sat for half an hour without so much as seeing a waiter or waitress after our order was placed and then again after it was placed on the table (we thought she went to get the rest of the order but she never came back, I had to walk into the kitchen to get helped).

“For the price, it wasn't bad.”

We also had a car, which made it easy to get to the subway to travel down to Rome.

Somehow get to the Anaginia Station and ride the Subway into Rome that way.
