One night stay to see Vatican with kidsPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
2 blocks to Vatican Museums and Vatican, our main objective for our one-night stay. Close to Metro staion. Very clean room and good a/c. Comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast is pre-placed in room. Could not figure out espresso machine but there was instant cappuccino (not bad) and toasts/cakes. In addition, they bring fresh rolls to room around 8:00. Rooms are in separate building from office and are on a 4th floor with old, narrow elevator. Francesca is sooooooo nice and advised us well to go to Vatican in afternoon to avoid busy morning with many tour groups. To see everything else, it's about a 20-minute walk over the bridge. She would have kept our bags for free after check-out but we decided to take it with us since we would be closer to the train station on the other side of river in the afternoon.

Visiting the VaticanPosted May 17, 2013
Pros: Closeness to the Vatican.
Location: Shops, restaurants, and vendors.
It was a great place very close to the Vatican. It was walking distance. The only problem we had was figuring out how to get someone to come open the door. You had to push the keypad to get someone to come to the door. But that's the way things are in Rome. The place was very clean and neat. There was nothing to complain about the stay.

Absolutely marvellous!Posted Feb 19, 2013
Pros: Francesca, the privacy, the price, the location, the quiet, the security, the comfort.
Location: Next door to the Vatican, on plenty of bus routes and near tram/metro routes.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place! It's more a rented room in an apartment than a hotel, but it's perfectly private and ensuite, breakfast is left in your room, you're free to come and go as you please with keys to the bedroom, flat, stairwell and apartment complex,it's centrally located, very clean and tidy, quiet, secure, and Francesca (fluent in English) was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic to help - we had an issue with our online tickets and she called and sorted the whole thing out within minutes. I would genuinely recommend this to anyone! One problem - the shower is NOT designed for 6'5'' man... but this is an Italy-wide dilemma! That said, when I go back to Rome, I will stay here again - and I'm sure Francesca will be pleased to see us, she was incredibly welcoming.
