Lovely room. Efficient but not friendly.Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Lovely, large room and very comfortable beds and the room price was very good. Close to the Spanish Steps and metro.
Cons: Breakfast cheaper as 33 euros is expensive so we went out every day. There are lots of good breakfasts available for around 10 euros in the area.
Location: Close to the Spanish steps so very central.
We stayed for five nights with our 14 year old son and had a lovely large room and beautiful bathroom. The maid service in the room was excellent every day. We only visited the communal area on arrival to wait for the room to be ready. Again it was lovely. My husband needed an Elastoplast but reception couldn't provide one - just directed me to the nearest pharmacy. Drinks were expensive. My parents were staying at a different hotel which had a happy hour from 6-10 and snacks on the bar every night. The staff there were friendly and helpful, providing maps and elastoplasts so we went there for pre-dinner drinks.

Best location in RomePosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Ability to identify better the room size and view.
Location: Close to most major sight-seeing venues and close to a wide variety of restaurants.
Excellent location central to all major sights (Vatican excepted although that's only a tube journey or a very interesting walk). Exceptional staff attending to all needs. Excellent breakfast at reasonable price for what you get. The room we had was a bit tight although well appointed from a furnishing point of view but we would have preferred to have a street view. I couldn't see when booking any means of identifying what view from the room was available otherwise we would have chosen a street aspect. Other than that the Baglioni we consider to be perfect for a stay in Rome. This is our fourth time staying there.

Bravo

La Dolce Vita indeed.Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Helpful and efficient staff. Elegant room. Lavish bathroom with a large tub and a great shower. Blackout curtains and high quality bedding.
Location: Walking distance to Termini, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Sidewalk cafes and good restaurants all around and a taxi stand across from the hotel.
Could not have picked a better hotel. Large, well appointed room with a very comfy bed and premium sheets afforded much needed rest after long sight seeing days. Worth the price of admission.
