Perfect, right in the centre if Rome.Posted Aug 14, 2014
A well equipped hotel with excellent facilities. The staff are extremely helpful and made our stay in Rome a relaxing experience, from mailing our postcards to organising airport transfers. Can not recommend enough.

Great hotel, and central locationPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Great location, staff very helpful. When we had to leave on our tour before breakfast started, the hotel provided us with a breakfast-to-go.
Great location, within walking distance of Forum, Palatine and Colosseum - well worth getting the tickets for all 3 for 2 days. Should have taken a guided tour as there is so much to see - such as amazing place. Don't line up for tickets at the Colosseum as the line up there was long. Best to buy them at the Palatine as you could get right in.

Fantastic location and wonderful staffPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: I liked the staff and how helpful they were. The location was brilliant and nothing seemed too far away to walk to.
Cons: A sink in both bathrooms in our room. There was also a slight smell from the bathroom but nothing some air freshener wouldn't fix
Location: The Trevi fountain is the nearest followed by the Pantheon. Great ice-cream shops by Trevi fountain. Spanish steps are near. Everything is walkable
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Regno, we arrived fairly late in the evening but there was no problem checking in, our bags were taken to our room and a member of staff very kindly broke into one of my friends' suitcase as she had left the padlock key at home. We had a triple room which was perfect and we could all be in the one room together. The room was simple but had everything we needed including a safe. The breakfast was on the first floor and was a buffet style breakfast so you just help yourself, it was simple but there was a choice of pastries, toast, yoghurts etc, breakfast went on until about 10 so there was no rush. The hotel is situated right in the centre of Rome, very close to the fountain (you literally just cross the road and it's 1 minute away), the opposite way you are a short walk from the Patheon. It's an ideal location to see all the tourist sites and even the Vatican and Colosseum aren't too far a walk. The staff speak brilliant English which was really helpful. When it came to leaving we pre-booked a taxi via the hotel so it was a fixed price back to the airport, the taxi arrived early and we had plenty of time to catch our flight home. I would strongly advise anyone to pre-book the taxi via the hotel, particularly when it rains the taxis tend to disappear so you otherwise may struggle to get one.

Highly recommended hotelPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Nothing I can think of, it was a very good "value for money" proposition.
The staff were excellent, polite and helpful. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the location is very central.
